  1. Poole would have to change their current signed riders to fit Robert Lambert in
  2. I forwarded my ticket and gave my bank account details and the money was refunded very promptly.
  3. My first live meeting for about 4 years. What a farce. It was quite obvious from Heat 1 that the conditions were too bad to produce any real racing. Dragging it out for so long was enough to turn many people away from speedway. I certainly will be in no hurry to go again.
  4. Looks like Klindt was told he was scoring too well so he had to back off to keep his average down
  5. How about signing Niels for the entire season and then when he disappears after 1 month he would be with holding his services so a guest would be allowed until a replacement could be found.
  6. Just been talking to 2 other Lynn supporters. We all live in the Norwich area so the cost of going to watch Lynn is relatively expensive. If the management cannot be bothered to tell us what is going on regarding the 2 riders still required then we will not be bothered to go this year and if one of them is KB then there is no way we will be going
  7. NKI's replacement could be anyone who is available. Depends who could also be riding in the Danish league. Janowski or Doyle could possibly be available. Are Porsing or Bjerre also missing? Simon Lambert may be in for Kerr. Any news about Robert Lambert?
  8. Quite amazing! Both teams with no guests or R/R. Is this a first for the e Elite League this season?
  9. Bjerre - 6pts from 5 rides. Need we say any more.
  10. Does Buster follow the posts here? If he does perhaps he would like to comment about admission prices and the overall presentation of meetings at King's Lynn
  11. In the late seventies/early eighties quite a few meetings were held at Mildenhall during the winter months, They were mainly team matches and I recall that on more than one occasion Mildenhall had 2 matches Each time with 7 different riders) against opposition from teams that included Wimbledon, Swindon, Iwade etc. Very few of the riders had a regular summer time team place but went on to do this. One name that springs to mind is Kelvin Tatum riding for Wimbledon. there was no charge for entry - just a small fee if you wanted a basic race card.
  12. I am surprised that there does not seem to be any mention of Norwich (or have I missed it). A great track for racing, viewing good from any part of the stadium, good cafe, and 2 excellent club rooms which were always full after the meeting with most riders in attendance. Also if you arrived early it was often possible to see cycle speedway meetings.
  13. Maybe we will soon have some idea about what is going to happen in 2014 after the annual conference. Does anyone know when it is? Has there been any preliminary meeting?
  14. I hope that I will be proved wrong but I fail to understand how Middlo can justify the selection of Edward Kennett. He has never performed very successfully at the Norfolk Arena and his current form both in the Elite and Premier Leagues is nothing special at present.
  15. Judging by their results this season the Young Stars riders do not appear to be making much progress. Most of them have been around for several seasons and should by now making a move in to the Premier League. What is aim of the Stars promotion? Are they hoping to produce quality young riders for the future? If so, a big shake up is probably required.
  16. Whilst I do not doubt Edward Kennett's ability on many tracks his record at King's Lynn is very poor. Surely Oliver Allen would have been a better choice for the meeting at the Norfolk Arena?
  17. With only 2-3 riders from the final 2010 team likely to retained(Roynon, Bjerre and probably Topinka) a PL septet would be new look.
  18. There is a report of an interview with Rob Lyons on the EDP24 website but it gives hardly information about what is happening with the Stars except to say that the management have had one meeting about possible riders and another meeting is planned. It does not say when this will be. As you say, information for supporters has been very poor for sometime now. I would be interested to know who is responsible for giving out details but I suspect that it could be someone very close to Buster who seems to do very little to help the image of the club these days.
  19. A good line-up but it is still over 42.5 with the British riders reduction
  20. Confirmed on the KL Facebook by Buster. As stated on another post the Stars must find another quality No.1.
  21. You have not taken in to account the 0.025% reduction in British riders' averages (Schramm, Lambert and Roynon) so there would be about 5.4 pts available for another rider. John Oliver possibly?
  22. You have not taken in to account the 0.025% reduction in British riders' averages (Schramm, Lambert and Roynon) so there would be about 5.4 pts available for another rider. John Oliver possibly?
  23. Quite a good team but I think that this would be over the limit based on the October averages. Darren Mallett is likely to miss out because Simon Lambert has a lower average that would fit several of the previous suggestions posted. Also Emiliano Sanchez has too high an average to fit most ideas. When is the annual promoters conference?
