Presumably until they can get costs under control they won't be sanctioning anything that will potentially cost money.
Not very exciting but it might save the series in the long term
You never know I suppose but I'd be amazed if CVS were interested in promoting elsewhere. He's getting on a bit now and I wouldn't even be sure he'd come back as Wolves promoter
If you take Oxford's statement at face value then there's an "exciting new era" for British Speedway about to kick off
That most certainly won't be a continuation of the existing set up whichever way it might try to be dressed up
I've never known Redknapp to mention speedway, I've never seen him at Poole or any other track for that matter
Perhaps he's introducing Bet Victor as the new League sponsors...
Triffic
Yes agreed, I meant more backing the project rather than running it per se.
I wouldn't try and open Northampton whilst Brandon is still up in the air
A large proportion of expected fans would surely come from Coventry way?

Personally I think the only chance Northampton would have of making a proper go of it is if the Save Coventry Crew (speedway side not stocks) were prepared to consider that if they ever gave up on Brandon
On the subject of merch I was in Loughborough last week and a chap in the high street was wearing his Leicester Lions shirt
Had a chat with him about the play offs
A rare event anywhere these days
The original post said around 6. 6.30 isnt around 6 but fine, the turnstiles have never been open that early when I've been to Owlerton but the regulars will know more
As Iain says some kind of official policy on this can only assist. I walked through the turnstiles at Belle Vue just as they announced the meeting was off.
