Any idea on the attendance? -
With the lower crowds now you should be able to get on the car park if you are there by 7

Thanks

A mess indeed

Any suggestion that involves payment being made to "an independent body" a marketing expert or market research company is a non starter. There's no money to pay them. This week's speedway star had a suggestion that an expert in sports marketing and pr who has held some of the most senior positions in sport and is a speedway fan should be asked "to join the quartet tasked with recommending where the sport goes in the future" I wonder if he were so minded that the BSPA would be offering a consultancy fee commensurate with his ability and experience?

Thanks if a Friday night confirmed track runs fixtures that are in the official fixture list on a Friday how can there be an objection..I don't get it
-
Totally agree with you regarding the fixture list. The SS article doesn't say however that it was accepted on that basis. I'm just intrigued by this to be honest, I can see now for example (without knowing the protocol for tracks running on their reserve night) but let's say that a track with an alternative race nights were running mainly on a Friday and the senior Friday tracks weren't happy about it for some reason. If however a track with confirmed Friday race night stage fixtures on a Friday night that are in the official fixture list then how can anyone have an issue with that? I'm confused!

Different league. You can't just ride Fridays because you did in a higher league. Depends what was agreed at the AGM. I don't know the answer and am just asking. It was interesting that Neil confirmed that Peterborough were a Sunday track. Anyone know about Worky?
-
Interesting I thought it was Saturday

Thank you

What are Lakeside Peterborough and Workington official championship race night?

Very disappointed with today's Star. Nowhere near enough hard hitting comment and investigation in to the current crisis. I get that Oakes is an accomplished journalist but he's been on the other side of the fence too much here. Quoting a tweet from a fan as the lead article isn't enough in my opinion

Wolves tail way too long to cover for Howarth. I'm an infrequent visitor to Monmore these days but big gaps on the terraces last night. Can he afford to try and get a number 1 in or can he afford not to? A decent reserve is a must though and that's not Riss on last night's showing

Pretty clear in fairness

I was at Rye v Wolves that was a Wednesday. There were only a few hundred there I'd say 400 at most
