Wolves track prep is all over the place.
Too deep then too slick
It definitely needs more grip than last night particularly on the 3rd and 4th. Provided that adverse camber by the fence has gone you'd get some great moves around the outside, Becker and Nicol were desperate for grip there last night
Yes fair comment then
I should reword it that no speedway promoter has managed to conclude a deal.
I'm still intruiged as to how anyone could or would fund the speedway infrastructure costs and probably expect to lose money in all but National League racing.
Be interesting to see how it pans out
Soon as I walked in at 6.30 you could see it was rough.
They had a good go at sorting it but as soon as heat 1 started you knew it wasn't going to work.
A league match would have been off before the start.
Certainly Berwick are proof that speedway can survive in a football stadium however it's hard to see how it could have at the Shay given the complete redevelopment undertaken by Halifax Town.
Depends on a heat leader emerging
Masters should be a decent enough number 1, Rory will be a steady 3rd heat leader. Need Morris or Becker or Douglas to step up, otherwise team looks good all round
Then a simple statement saying that the speedway is unaffected and we hope to be back in 2022 would suffice.
These people are custodians of a sports club, the fans who've paid their hard earned at the Somerset turnstiles should be told the position
