Interesting one. Masters was pretty good at Sheffield. If he can get round there he should be able to ride the EOES

Bad refereeing doesn't excuse cheating

Finding people who are prepared to be trustees may not be the easiest thing to do.

Let's see it built and confirmation from the Robins promotion that they are carrying on and then we can get excited
-
Surprise he took his second ride? No surprise he didn't appear again after that Is he out for the rest of the season?

Poor night for Wolves with inconsistencies everywhere and no high scoring reserves. Allowing the likes of Pedersen and Andersen past on the inside shows a lack of track craft and understanding do riders watch the racing Hans and Bjarne never pass anyone on the outside... what happened to team riding? Panthers wanted it and tactical injury rider replacement and the tactical fall by Andersen helped them on their way

Ask for directions. The locals are very accommodating

Thank you. Let's hope he's right

How's the "rent issue" going?

Makes perfect sense for Peterborough after the Sheffield match which clearly threw a spanner in their plans. They should be able to beat Wolves over 2 legs on this seasons evidence. No point in worrying about the final until you get there. -

Wolverhampton v Peterborough is most certainly not a larger crowd than Wolves v Aces or Tigers -
The demolition crew need to arrive before anything could be built.

In my view anything fan based will fall at the hurdle which says someone has to be responsible for any losses incurred. Fans won't be able/prepared to stump potentially unlimited cash calls if losses are made. First and foremost you need someone to take responsibility for the whole project then look at ways that fans can assist perhaps along the lines of the Edinburgh model. In this climate you'd have to say chances are remote at best but you never know

Hansons Mild was better than Banks's and that's been gone for decades

My late Dad lived in Ettingshall pretty sure there was a cafe sign up when i last went past. Was a while ago now though

Blimey the Forge Hammer Right by the old man's workplace, proper basic but a decent enough pint. Is it now a cafe?

Be interesting to see how Palin does. Been some decent scores from his replacements -
With Rory Schlein retiring I'd assume Masters will stay at Wolves

Problem is as THJ referred to in his original post is how would any losses incurred as the season progresses be covered? There has to be a vehicle to run the club and the shareholders/directors/trustees are going to be on the hook for any losses that wouldn't be covered by funds raised to date. You might get people to stick in a sum of money at the start or a regular payment but what would happen when a cash call came in the middle of the season.... Tricky

Flint is a good lad, giving his best and has done reasonably well overall but he rides a wide line at Wolves which can be done by riders with a bit of nous and fast bikes. Tough for someone inexperienced to pull it off
-
Tell me about the figures... I could lose how much? I'm out...

Any future for Newcastle or any other club can't be based on getting more people through the gate. That's the easy way to losing money. Base your budget on this seasons attendances deduct rent and expenses and pay the riders what remains. If that isn't viable then it's a shame but close down.
