It's certainly in the "right" area being the industrial bit by the Football ground. I think the track is very small though so not sure what size track you could get inside it, maybe something Plymouth sized?

I seriously doubt anyone would get permission from the BSPL to operate a team within a reasonable distance of Peterborough without coming to an agreement with the current owner

They might get a handful from Wolves, if they are banking on this making them pay their way at a higher level I've a feeling they may be disappointed.

This is correct, a deal now for the assets and rights to Peterborough speedway should be easy, negotiating an overage deal based on future happenings is much more difficult but certainly doable

I'm not sure that the Pete Adams comment is correct. A few Wolves riders might entice a handful of Wolves over for a look but the team manager wouldn't

Agreed it's absolute madness, Birmingham have tried this before what's the difference going to be this time? If they think they'll get substantial numbers of Wolves fans I think they might be mistaken

That doesn't mean that they are prepared for the speedway to continue though.
