  1. Correct. You can't redeclare with a rider who isn't eligible to ride named in the side Replace Vuolas you have to replace Zagar
  2. It sort of reads that way, as Zagar is ineligible they couldn't redeclare with him in the side. I'll be amazed if we see him again though Whatever their options they've replaced a heat leader and a reserve with 2 reserves
  3. Castagna and Hume replace Zagar and Vuolas
  4. They'll beat Oxford with the current set up. If Zagar isn't coming back then they've a problem finding another heat leader. Might be a Sheffield type double change which wouldn't be exciting and wouldn't likely make much difference overall
  5. No riders of a decent standard who aren't here already want to ride here ask Sheffield Oxford and Birmingham are hopeless but other than some lower/middle order tinkering what can they do
  6. I can't see a CPO in this climate plus it would undoubtedly be subject to a legal challenge (depending on the cpo price) that would potentially incur the council in substantial legal costs I'd say negotiation remains the only hope for Cov however slim that possibility is. I do however wish them all the very best
  7. Then the club won't have any complaints when people don't bother
  8. No guest facility for a rider who hasn't ridden for you
  9. If Birmingham are banking on decent crowds they'll need to find some parking from somewhere otherwise people won't bother Perhaps another discussion with the One Stop Centre?
  10. When I looked at it a BSN season pass equated to approx £30 per month if you count the season as 8 months. At the time TNT were asking around the same monthly cost. Obviously you get lots of speedway with BSN but other sports with TNT. I certainly wouldn't be paying £60 per month for both although it does appear that some have been successful at getting cheap deals for TNT
  11. But at a similar monthly cost to the TNT deal* so not ideal for those who can't or won't pay that sort of money each month. *You do of course get more meetings with BSN
  12. That would be a tough ask I guess, sponsors are hard to find at the best of times and this seems like a significant amount for this level of speedway. We can only wish them well
  13. Borrowing a significant amount of money from an external source doesn't seem to be a good fit with the fan ownership model Presumably "the fans" would then be responsible for paying back the loan regardless of what happens
  14. Risk capital partners own the stadium
  15. Thanks, is the barrier taken down after each meeting?
  16. New air barrier and extensive padding for the RSJ's and concrete wall sounds like an incredibly expensive but necessary requirement. I note the reference to a foam barrier at Lynn, is that the actual air fence or the protection underneath it?
  17. It's pretty basic, not enough room for a separate track so would need to be shared with the cars I'd say it's worth an enquiry especially if the Rye House revival doesn't happen
  18. As the guy stepping down wasn't in charge when the original decision was made I wonder if we asked him
  19. "What about the meuller, the wonga....?" 🤣
  20. Indeed but many people presuming it'll be on TNT, might be another shock coming with no domestic speedway on TV.
  21. See the post from Flagrag over in the News Section No decision yet on where the domestic speedway coverage will appear
