Can't comment on the quality of the GP streams in particular, that's down to the resources allocated by the streamers themselves . I often watch good quality streams broadcast on Ustream (such as Japanese Autorace), so it's down to SGP to promote a good image to the wider world . Countries restricted from using this stream due to copyright issues are :- Poland , UK , Denmark , Sweden , Australia, Germany & France! .

Now that 'gods older brother' has conclusively proved that the Speedway GP series is 'in tatters', surely it's back to one-off finals, when/where ?

As opposed to the tiny, tight, mis-shaped compromise stadiums that infest Britsh speedway ? I'll take proper Speedway any day of the week .

I'm glad he's not . I'm also glad he's not riding in Britain . He's entirely concentrating on getting setup for proper league speedway, on proper circuits .

Well, he deserves it . He's ridden like a Monster this year .

I find it strange that you wouldn't believe me . I really cannot stand any of the English speaking broadcasts, it's a barrage of the banal & stupid, just excessive time filling nonsense . I have tried 'muting', but invariably i get bored of the lesser product, i channel hop & invariably just don't bother hopping back . For me, the ideal speedway broadcast is TV-commentator-free, as has been followed in the Allsvenskan Live On The Net thread .

Would be a stupid move . There's no point to speedway without the noise of the engines . Now, if you could mute the commentary only, they might get my custom .

I choose foreign everytime, it's easier to mentally blank out the commentary when you don't understand it . Sadly, the Sky/Premiersports coverage makes me switch off completely .

I rather suspect an invasion by an angry Polish speedway crowd could be volatile, not quite an advertisers ideal (excepting maybe Stella Artois) . Whereas, a British track invasion would be more akin to a disorganised fete . Grumpy mutterings, warm flasks, embarrassed shuffling & maybe the odd bit of sneakily dropped litter ( that'll teach 'em ) .

Pissed off crowds don't make good television for the sponsors
