  1. I like Somerset,Sheffield, Workington and Eastbourne.Having seen a lot of National League racing over the past years, I fully endorse the views of gazzac (above). In my view Wood and Brennan will prove overall the best reserve pairing in the Championship by a country mile.At Arlington they can both already post times as fast as those seen in our past Elite league days, and were at least as good if not better than Kemp, and way better than Mountain plus the other highly rated National league riders.Away they won't be as good, but you only have to win a handful of away matches to reach the play offs. Providing you are solid at home and we will be. Our top order is as good as any other team. Morley and Bowtell are a little underpowered in the middle order, but I still think our home form plus the odd away result will see the Eagles in the play offs.
  2. 2nd Bend, half way up, the announcer was very clear. He's excellent by the way . He's also the Eastbourne announcer. Now the video screen interviews were incomprehensible - what was that all about ?.
  3. He might be a bit past his best, but I reckon we could use him at Eastbourne !. Still a class act in my opinion and a seemingly nice man.
  4. Jason for me as the winner. I'll be cheering him on, since none of Brits have much chance - even Bomber. Finalists - Jason Crump Fast Freddie Lingren Nicki Pedersen Leigh Adams Fastest and most entertaining rider there, but to fall in at least 1 ride - Emil Sayfutdinov
  5. Another pretty dull GP. Very processional, but Congrats to Jason. The Russian was fairly entertaining until he cracked. Gollob and Hancock on the rostrum !- how on earth did that happen- they were poor for most of the meeting ?. Ah well, I'm sure I'll enjoy the next one much more - 3 hours getting out of the Car Park and Wales, 3 hours on the M4, most of the night on the M25 and probably the other half snoring in the passenger seat as I wonder why we do it !..
  6. I can't see beyond Tai Woffinden the track specialist, or Lewis Bridger who is the best rider in this field by a country mile to win this. However Lewis will be carrying an injury and is also prone to completely missing the odd start, so it does give some of the others a tiny bit of a chance , namely Mear and Ward.
  7. I assume you are commenting on Heat 15 being a thriller?. I agree - great pass from Noddy. However virtually all the previous heats I saw were top riders doing high speed follow the guy in front. Poor racing in my view.
  8. Ah I stand corrected. Well congratulations on winning this round anyway.
  9. Congratulations to Simon. Swedish Under 21 Champion. Also the British Under 21 Champion is at Eastbourne. Wonder if one of them can get the World Under 21 Champion later this year.
  10. Hi Roger rode in 13 matches for Canterbury in 1974. He also rode for Eastbourne but I am not sure of the details. Hope this is of some small help.
