Kings Lynn v Poole Wednesday August 29th

The net is filling up tonight. -
We had the false dawn of a couple of early away wins, but the reservations about the team have come home to roost, after last years highs everything looked rosy apart from the stadium uncertainty, no WC to cheer and a side built on the cheap has quickly dampened the positivity, think this will be the end of the road and the Robins go the way of so many great clubs.

Poole v Swindon Prem B. 22/8/18
noggin replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Let's look at the facts, we sneaked an away win at Leicester and won at Poole when they were misfiring, both in April, what have we done since, 1 measly point, funnily enough at Leicester again, so you must be deluded if you think we will even get the losers point, Poole might be slightly weakened, but we have a team Batch apart who are all out of form, especially away..........52-38. -
To coin a football phrase, think our lot are already on their holidays.

Team relies on all riders chipping in especially the top 5, pundits had us down for 5th at best, sadly we've backed those predictions up, way to weak to be considered play off winners even if we miraculously make them.

We are rubbish away, 50-40 ish.

Another PR own goal. -
What a shame

How about people staying on topic, there's a thread for the new stadium if Poole feel the need to comment.

01/08/2018 : Somerset v Swindon : Premiership

I don't get why folk are surprised, we were written off at the start of the season, had two away wins and suddenly became world beaters, we are basically now riding to what the predictions suggested. -

True, but I think your reserves are stronger even if they have to cover for Josh, feeling he'll be there anyway and panic over. -

With or without Josh, should be an away win, Leicester changes don't appear to be an improvement. Going for 43-47. -
Can't ser there being changes, the side was built for a strong top 5, they need to click especially away, can't win every year, no point putting the club into an even more precarious position, news on the stadium should be of paramount importance now, not just for Swindons sake, but also for the future of the top flight, Rye have gone, we could be next...worrying times.

What's the latest news on Oxford? Used to enjoy my nights at Cowley,.

Perhaps it's time for the council to suggest alternative sites, let the Abbey go, never going to work now with all the houses, start again, GI never had any intention of building a new stadium.
