Has anyone any info on PVL ignitions? I have had some problems with ignitions this year,and was thinking of swapping from selletra to a pvl.Is it straight forward to swap,where is the cheapest place to get one?any problems or comparisons ?

Hi, does anyone know how to test a selletra ? I have had my meter on it and it's showing a resistance on the stator,but looking on the internet,that is inconclusive from what i'm reading.The coil and ht read ok and I've got a new spark plug,just no spark.The rotor has plenty of magnetism in it,so, i'm guessing that's ok.Any more thoughts?

I'm sure i used to ride on the grass with Karl Bagshaw in the Cheshire Centre,is this the same guy?Has he emigrated?

I have rode on the grass with his son Paul.Look on you tube ,type in "Stoke speedway"then select the formula grasstrack clip to see Paul in action.

When he first got into the Stoke team (1981 or 82) he was awesome until he broke his thigh in the British under 21's,knocked off by a certain Sky commentator if I remember right!When he came back,he was never the same,although he was always a good heat leader/second string.If he hadn't have done his leg in,I think he could have been 1st division standard,but who knows?I saw him at Scunthorpe the other week as well,and he looked like it was a only a couple of weeks since he last rode,never mind ten years!
