yes, missed that. Just go's to show why we scored so many more race points than anyone else? LOL
-
We will probably have to lose riders as our current team total is 45.26 & can not change now, as playoff scores do not count towards points averages. Logically, the team averages will not rise above 42.5, as this is the maximum number of points available based on 4 rides.

Swindon v Belle Vue Premiership Cup Final 2nd. Leg
robins les replied to Ovalman's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Were you there? There was no dust until about heat 13. Belle Vue battled well but the Robins are strong from heat 10 onwards & often rattle up big scores from 10 onwards to win meetings. Now to keep it close up at Monmore. -
If he is, it must be contagious & he caught off of you!

Hands off. He's Swindon asset now, bought him off of Lakeside about 2/3 seasons ago. -

Never mind hey. Will Wells be fit for Thursday or will that mysterious injury re-occur. If only we had the benefit of riding against a NL rider at Belle Vue last Thursday but it appears that a long flight caused Bjerre's injury to reappear. -
Get over to Kings Lynn on Thursday & cheer them on to a win against Poole. LOL

Massive result for the Robins tonight. Let's hope that Kings Lynn return to their home form next Thursday. Poole have to win, away draw would not be good enough as Robins have far superior race points difference. Speedway Updates will be hot on Thursday. -

Poole vs Kings Lynn 12/09/19

What's the weather like on Christmas Day? There is no way that you can confidently say that all meetings will run. If there is a deluge on the day of the meeting & the track is under water with it still raining - meeting off "simples". Like I said I hope that all meetings go ahead but you cannot legislate for British weather. -
Batchelor had no trouble with a damp track on Monday & has done well for us this season, raising his average to 8+ this season. Would happily have him back next season. It's good to see a smile on his face again this season.

Looks like Tobias may not be returning to UK next season, says he considering his options. He has not looked the same rider since he returned from injury, just wonder how fit he is as it was a serious injury & came back remarkably quickly. I think that he is hinting that he is not fully fit in his interview as he says that he would not be fit for football but that he can mange with speedway. Would be a shame if he doesn't but Razza would be a shoe-in as we will obviously have to lose points for next season as we are currently 3+ points over the limit set for this season.

Poole vs Kings Lynn 12/09/19

Poole supporters are far too confident of finishing top. With the changeable weather we are having, they may not complete all of their fixtures before the 19th. The management may then reflect why they had such a long gap without any meetings. I sincerely hope that this isn't the case but you never know in this country with the weather. -
Peterborough V Swindon Monday 9/9/19

To be fair to Rosco, that rule is not clear. What happens if in the referee's opinion, nobody is guilty of foul, unfair, dangerous or reckless conduct. What does he do in those circumstances. -
No change there then, slag Robins off for using t/s but then Poole do the same thing against the same team, Robins win their meeting, Poole lose their's but then go on about Ippo meeting. I think you will find they are a different prospect with Iversen in their l/up. Broke the track record with his 1st ride.

Ipswich v Swindon 5/9/19

If points totals are equal, it go's to match points, as the Robins are + 145 & Poole + 18, odds are in Robins favour. -
Wolves v King’s Lynn 2nd Sept

Perhaps that's because it could mean a 7 day ban. Nicholls has received a ban of 7 days for pulling out of the meeting with a back injury.
