Mainly due to the ineptitude of the people running speedway the sport is in such a mess. What with ridiculous rule changes and nothing to entice the fans in. I didn't really think it was possible but this season has just sunk to new depths and the powers that be don't seem to see this unfortunately. Hope the speedway star keeps on being produced been buying it every week since 1997 and still look forward to every Thursday for this weeks edition.

Even if you're on about the new breed of gp riders isn't it only Dudek who hasn't ridden here? Pawlicki and Sayfutidnov have unless I've missed anyone out?

If the tracks were as bad as holder, doyle, schlein make out why do they continually ride here? If there not happy don't ride here no one forces them. Bet the bspa love schlein granting him to race in the British championships then all he does is castrate everything to do with British speedway

What do people make of Jason Doyle's comments in the speedway star this week? He basically says if league racing doesn't go to set nights next season he won't ride here and that the tracks in Sweden and Poland are much safer. Now part of the problem is some of the tracks over here don't have 24/7 access to tracks so some only have a few hours on the day of the meeting to sort the tracks out. He also says that he prefers to ride in Poland because the riders are safer. Now that's quite disrespectful to some of the riders in the Premiership he once used to crash and fall off a lot, also the amount of times you see him make rash moves it's quite ironic coming from him. So do we need the big riders over here?

Good result for us today, and yes well done to Ludvig for last night and tonight's scores but 2 meetings don't make a season in which he has been fairly average once again. Got to get Bowtell signed up now for next season.

Yeah he started at number 4 but average wise he should be scoring as a third heatleader but he hasn't that's why his average has dropped so much. How long has Lindgren been on a bargain average though? He won't be any better than what he currently is. I personally wouldn't want him or Robson back even though he has done good since he's joined us. Agree about Morris the only way I would have him back would be if we could get him in at reserve.

Yeah he is entertaining at home I'm not disputing that but the fact was at the start of the season he was signed as third heatleader to back our big two up which he hasn't done hence his average dropping. You could have 7 entertaining riders but if you get beat every game how is that any good? Your idea of bringing Robson, Lindgren back why? Can I ask we've had those for the past few seasons and we've won nothing and we would have the same problems as this season ok at home but shocking away. Imo we need a big shake up in the winter but I'd definitely keep Bowtell and Stevie if he wanted to come back.

Yeah that was me who said that. Granted riders do have off nights but how many "off" nights does Lindgren have since he's rode for us? It's absolutely embarrassing that he scored 1 point at Glasgow it shouldn't ever happen. His average has dropped quite significantly from the start of the season. And yeah he scored well tonight but for how long he's ridden brough that's what he should be doing at home.

Josh Pickering is riding tonight now, can only see a comfortable home win and no change in our poor away performances this season

The league is already in a kind of north south divide. If there were as you say 4 more teams moved up into the Premiership that would dilute the Championship wouldn't it? Less teams and teams would be meeting each other very often. That would be ironic if some of the top riders returned with there tails between there legs hoping for team spots over here.

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised at all especially after Stevie's World Cup and pairs performances he won't have done his chances of getting rides in Poland any harm

Yeah I can see where you're coming from. So many things need sorting out this winter but knowing the bspa they'll change some stupid rule which will make no difference.

Unless the points limit goes up for next season I think we'd have to chose between Robert and Stevie for number one build a more strength in depth side with a good reserve imo.

I think that would be a sensible solution, if you take out Doyle, Lindgren, Bjerre, Andersen, KK unless I've missed any then it's basically championship strength sides anyway. If the one league and no gp riders was to happen would prices attendance wise come down? Because we seen on BT on Monday that priced at £5 people will go and see I'm not suggesting it should be that low but maybe £10 or something. Also would the pay structure come down because the "so called" big riders wont be here or will that just create a problem where second strings demand more money because they could potentially be in demand.

Why would any team want to move up when you could argue the Premiership is just a glorified Championship? Personally think we should just go for one big league and don't let any gp riders ride here

It would never work over here too many constraints on most tracks with use of stadiums

Apologies he did say we and not he, was probably more aimed at the team in general yes but KL weren't even in the playoffs at the time of there sacking so they still weren't really killing it. That aside the whole situation has been handled so badly nobody comes out of it smelling of roses.

Come on BSPA do the correct thing and send Holder junior packing with his brother. They need us more than we need them.

I know mate just proud to be British although I should just ignore him you're right. I'll try not to clog this thread up too much. On a side note the racing has been so poor.
