  1. Hello can any Leicester fans help me? I'm a Newcastle supporter and might be coming down on July 13th for the league match then onto the fours the following day, im just wondering is there any decent b&b's or hotels close to Leicester we could use before moving onto Peterborough on the sunday? Thanks in advance.
  2. Think yourself lucky the points we threw away in the first few heats...... Mellgren apart you's were pathetic. One question Doolan just why?
  3. Give Tully a chance remember he's coming back from a very serious injury. Lindgrens more of a worry i'd say..... Also if we come up against a side with a "proper" number 1 we struggle! The last 2 weeks at brough, ben barker and craig cook have been beaten once in 10 rides now I know there good riders no doubting that but away number 1s shouldn't be coming here and scoring maximums for fun.... Our heatleaders should be beating them at home.
  4. Would it not make more sense for the premier league to buy say 6 or 7 air fences for the whole league and share them? As apose to 13 teams having to fork out money for one each. Obviously Thursday, Friday and Saturday are the busy days in the premier surely they could share them or would this not be allowed? Then again whenever have promoters worked together for the good of our sport lol
  5. Just a thought about Klindt two way deal he helps rye out while allen recovers wins races gets confidence back and goes back to Peterborough a better rider.... maybe lol
  6. Well im not a rye house fan just interested in speedway full stop but looking on from the outside you couldn't understand the team at the start of the season using up so few points, Silver seems to be very loyal to his riders so cant see any changes happening what so ever.
  7. Plus an under performing Haines and Hall whos basically average apart from everywhere but Sheffield lol
  8. To be fair to the kid the Sheffield promotion hardly helped him with the make up of the team!!
  9. Very unlikely to happen I know but couldn't len silver sign Klindt I think hed drop down on an 8.41 for Allen, and Roynon in place of Mear and the re-declare with Garrity when fit for Lambert. Probably never happen though.... so don't know why I suggested it ha ha
  10. Know this is a long shot but would it not be sensible/possible to run the meeting tomorrow? Plymouth up here anyway cause they were at Berwick last night. Or maybe i'm just being a bit too optimistic lol
  11. Lol was more in jest with the age of a couple other glasgow riders than anything else.... but he was the first name to come to mind too.
  12. Whos the ex gp star then? Carl Stonehewer? lol
  13. Well first off were obviously not going to win it. So why persist with the likes of Harris, King and Steads, Barker? Neither of the latter will get any better than they are now and just some of Harris scores in the elite this year is one of the reasons I wouldn't pick him. Obviously Nicholls has said he wont be riding and personally im not to fussed certainly wouldn't be banging on his door begging for him to re-consider. Undecided on Bridger personally apart from Woffinden I think he is the next best brit potential wise anyway if he could get decent machinery and get his head sorted he could have a decent future in the sport. Some on here will disagree but that's what this forums about opinion. Cook and Worrall.... Well Cook deserves his place improved no end the last season and a half and Worrall has been scoring decent points in the Premier and obviously got a max for Kings Lynn the other night. Plus Worrall can gate so he gives himself half a chance. So why not go with these riders? Basically write this year off give the young lads experience and target next year..... Cant do any worse than we have the last few years. So my team would be 1) Woffy 2) Cook 3) Worrall 4) Bridger. But more than likely team will be 1) Woffy 2) Harris 3) Kennett 4) Nicholls( wouldn't be surprised in the least to see Nicholls back)
  14. Glasgow were always going to be up against it with 3 riders who had never seen the place before plus throw in Wright who's been pretty useless on his last few visits to brough so not really a surprise at the score.... Glad to see Steve getting in amongst the points again looked quicker today than he has lately to. Can see Glasgow getting on alrite at home but fear a few more hidings for them on there travels.
  15. Hmm meeting delayed due to track work then? Well if the diamonds lose we can always use the bears favourite excuse the track was poor ha ha
  16. Paul Starke? Managed to travel upto Newcastle every week last season i'm sure he could find redcar and score as many if not more than Mitchell Davey?
  17. If boxall is committed for the season he should be head and shoulders above anything in the national league
  18. Rather surprised we never went for Starke he had a few meetings for us last season so knows what the premier is all about so thought he would have been the obvious choice. Anyway good luck to young Lewis I'll still be supporting him no matter what
  19. I'd rather have starke anyday if king wasn't riding
  20. Not exactly a surprise he hasn't been picked up hardly progressed since he started riding and there's younger and better riders available now
  21. 1. Jason Doyle 9.17 2. Alex Davies 5.69 3. Sam Masters 7.43/ Claus Vissing 7.44 4. Robin Aspegren 6.40 5. Jesper Monberg 7.26 6. Tom Perry 3.53 7. Stephan Nielsen 3.00 42.48/42.49 Either of those teams would take some stopping
  22. Why would cook go back to worky? Thought they sold him to edinburgh?
  23. Would love to see this, Hougaard 8.15, Richie 5.78, Rene 7.95, Cory Gathercole 6.33, Ludvig 6.84, Starke 3.00 & Steve 4.03 = 42.08 doubt it'd happen though!!
  24. Agree about Ludvig, pretty much got brough dialled in now.... Only concern he is pretty inconsistant away from home still
