Id take a chance on Ellis Perks even if it meant he would have to start in the main body of the side he is hungry and will only progress imo. Just seems an odd decision imo the couple of times I seen him at brough park he looked pretty useful. He still added nearly a point to his average for not seeing most of the tracks before.

I think some people on here just need to relax a little bit yes I think we would all like the club to communicate with the fans a bit better with regards to next season but were listed as being in the championship next season and in the draw for the knockout cup, Im sure if we werent running there would have been an announcement by now.

Yeah thats true but by winning your home meetings is generally what keeps the fans happy so most will accept average away performances if there being entertained at home.

Surely Eddie Kennett has to be under consideration if the conversion rate is still 1.2? His average would be 7.66 and as second or even third heat leader he has to be a must?

Possibly, hes spent most of his career at bigger tracks so maybe a season at brough would bring him on even more who knows. Ive a feeling the back bone of the side will contain Lindgren, Kus, Rose, Morris and then fill in the blanks, no idea what they add up to or what would be left. You say the team needs an overhaul/re-jigging yet youd bring back 4/7 of last years team. Which lets be honest wasnt good enough home or away so why would have them back?

I know the top league are just looking after themselves when really the whole of British speedway from top to bottom needs sorted out. Its going to be an interesting winter regardless of what happens.

But there only supposedly going to set race nights to get some of the so called top riders back. And if it was one big league there wouldnt be a need for doubling up so could race on any night?

That wouldnt be so bad if that was the case then. Surely it would be more beneficial to everyone if we just went for one big league? Most clubs saying they dont get enough people through the turnstiles yet the top league saying they want to bring the GP riders back where is the money going to come from to pay for them? Clubs shouldnt spend what they dont have! I think its too far down the line now I cant see a few big riders coming back will mean people flooding back to speedway.

So as a lot of talk is going on about the Premiership riding Monday and Thursday next season with potentially lakeside and Sheffield moving up as has been mentioned how would that effect the Championship? With only the likes of Newcastle, Redcar, Berwick, Edinburgh, Workington, Glasgow and Scunthorpe left would that be one league? Part of the problem this season is seeing the same teams over and over surely this wont help bring the crowds flocking back.
