Don't know about transponders, but the going back to the pits on a false start seems unnecessary to me , open pit gate, four riders , two minutes, shut pit gate, open the pit gate again when race is finished, for emergencies, or allowing replacement to enter race, no mechanics etc.

Always considered KK to be what I call "a head racer", when he mentally ok, unbeatable , if he cant get his head round it useless. Cook on the other hand is total commitment, but will probably end up like most British riders reach a certain level and that's it.

Absolute disgrace this constant price increases, remember going to Exeter and finding that the raffle tickets were 6d, they were only 3d at Poole.

Think you will find its 60's, but it is a stadium.

My post said POOLE SITE , I am well aware that the fixture list has lots of TBC, but they are not on the Poole Internet site fixture list.

Just wondered if anyone noticed that although it does say "can be amended" the Poole sites fixture list does not contain any matches with Leicester or Coventry .

Could someone explain the "new" rules, because I am confused by what Brady Kurtz average will be

High match average/ successful, result no job. not so high average/ mediocre, result , job and two league places(d/u), this does not sound like the real world to me, but dumb it down enough, will it work, that's speedway

A typical Elite league match KL 1-5 30 pts COV 1-5 30 pts, reserves KL 12 pts COV 19 pts, Elite matches now decided by how good your 6 & 7 are, but anyway congratulations to Coventry.

Why have Poole got June off, is it possible bad weather again ?

Maybe Wolverhampton should not have so much tea during the break , they seem to fall apart after the interval, happened in a couple of matches now.

(Today afternoon and early evening) Sunshine, blue skies, light cloud, perfect weather for calling off a meeting, but to be fair the "forecast" was somewhat different to the reality .

Whilst not wishing to "side" one way or the other in this "debate", an awful lot of text has not been devoted to "Alarmingly Low Crowds", which I assumed was the subject. Maybe a confrontation area is needed.

The football field that used to be inside the speedway track had to have pallets with grass on it to make up the corners, gawd knows what they would need now as the track then was bigger.

The sad thing is that with all the "rules" made so complicated, people who have not been before can be so confused that they wont bother again, try explaining to a "newbie" the TR/Double points situation, and that's an easy one.

I remember going from Poole to Hyde Road for the British League riders Championship, it was raining very hard when we arrived and when we left, but the full programme was competitively run that night, with no withdrawals by riders .

The ELRC needs Elite riders, not a pot pourri of seven point contestants, its not I feel a fitting tribute to Coventry upon its demise , but then again I cant think what would be.

Maybe some riders know that the more successful you become in the EL the less chance you have of being employable the next year, this system to me seems to constantly attempt to "balance" the teams, but merely ends up "dumbing down" the whole thing. The EL these days are about 5 and 6 point riders.
