  1. Michellsen,Doyle, kubera and madsen will be wild cards, feel a bit for kvech as not only did he qualify on merit he has put himself about this GP season and isn’t afraid to mix it
  2. Congratulations to Lambert but had the perfect opportunity to lay down a marker tonight for next season, to give zmarzlik someone to worry about, had the momentum and on his own track and went missing
  3. And that ladies and gentlemen is why he will be the greatest rider the sport has ever had
  4. And that ladies and gentlemen is why he will be the greatest rider this sport has ever had
  5. Wrong decision but I could see that decision coming when seeing the replays, pretty sure the ref thinks there was no contact (just heard that’s what the ref thought lol )
  6. Zmarzlik never picks a number in first 2 heats and is usually in heat 4 ,he has picked 13 in Toruń, 13 in vojens, 15 in Latvia, 16 in Wrocław, 12 in Gorzow, 11 in Sweden, 14 in Prague, 13 in landshut, 12 in Warsaw, is this so he can observe the track in the first 2 rides, while the others are thinking about having their favourite gate twice ? Speedway is a psychological game and he obviously sees something in avoiding those first 2 races
  7. I just hope it works out financially for belle vue speedway, that’s the important bit for me
  8. Yes but that doesn’t pay the bills, I want great racing too but I’ve been to some shockers here and abroad over the years but had a great time and cause of that I would go back the next year
  9. And that’s exactly why Cardiff got a crowd of 40,000 before the novelty wore off, the GP needs a new Cardiff not a BV, I’ve been to belle vue a couple of times this year for league matches and as great as the racing is it’s not what I and others want from a GP
  10. Imo putting one at belle vue is a case of thinking inside the box, this is not about the have or have nots about BV but Cardiff was something different, it was the whole fan experience and that’s what’s new is needed now, a new fan experience and you ain’t getting that at belle vue, it’s not for me
  11. I’m under no illusion it goes on but the higher up the sport you go the harder it is to get away with it because of the checks that go on but it’s very rare for it to be the actual engine these days
  12. It wasn’t oversized, it was the first GM engine which was far superior to the weslake/godden or Jawa that was used at the time and it was pretty much the end for those 3 manufacturers, the mk1 GM was a very quick engine but was very unreliable with rocker arms and conrods breaking frequently
  13. No they don’t but as I see it woffinden at his worst is still better than pretty much anyone who is availible to replace him, I think he will go to somewhere like ostrow and it will rejuvenate him and it will come back to haunt Wrocław, the talk is Michelllsen to replace him, well his form has gone missing on many occasions for Częstochowa in recent seasons
  14. He is already the best reserve in the polish extraleague and if rumours are true he is one of the highest paid too, he will get to the top if he stays injury free, world champ well that’s a one in thousand but a future GP rider and round winner I think yes
  15. The bikes are less forgiving these days and you have such a small optimal useable range that outside that range the bike is uncompetitive and it’s reading things like that you think well why don’t we make the engines like we had before where it was competitive without a limited range, well the answer is because the sport is run by the riders for the riders via the tuners and it’s quite the little cartel they have going and turkeys don’t vote for Xmas
  16. Think Gorzow can lay the blame firmly at Wozniak.’s door, for a GP rider his form over the 2 legs has been abysmal
  17. He needs to up his game but listening to crowds reaction to woffinden Wrocław would be crazy to get rid of him
  18. And most are there because it’s their team not because it’s speedway, it’s tribalism and it’s the very foundation of any team sport but the concept is lost on British speedway
