Well last year I made a good few thousand so that horse is well worth riding

It’s £30 for a small stand at the speedway show fgs, it’s hardly marketing money

British speedway currently isn’t even preaching to the converted, it’s preaching to nobody at all, last month I went to the Stafford motorcycle show, thousands of motorbike fans over 2 days, there was one Indian guy selling curtains and another selling mobile phones, now it’s about £350 for a stall there, did they sell a curtain or a mobile phone case ? Probably not but they are out there trying and it was just 2 stalls out of place but it was 2 more stalls than the whole of speedway had, we and I mean collectively and that includes every club have got to push our sport at every opportunity and every event possible, even if it’s preaching to the converted or even outside of our comfort zone, this is not a brag but with the different shows I’ve done I’ve done more to promote speedway than British speedway itself

It’s not about the bspl and clubs because the bspl and clubs don’t support it and it’s not cause the organisers havent tried to get them, some riders even wanted travel expenses to attend, I was quite surprised today while setting up just now may folk attend the motor museum,,maybe tomorrow some will venture in to the speedway show, maybe they won’t but if you don’t try they definitely won’t

As me and my family have done a couple of times this year, in fact I’ve been 4 times this year to worky, over 200 miles away, who knew

Go and apply for a job at the bspl they love folk like you who can’t see past the end of their nose and see the bigger picture, maybe we should close Poole down cause what do Glasgow and Edinburgh gain from them being hundreds of miles away ?

Will have to go to Łódź GP, one track I’ve never been and will go to Toruń again as I’ve not been since 2019 but the rest I will watch on tv, ticket prices will be interesting now it’s been took over by a new company and so has the ticket distribution service

I will have a stand there, selling bikes and spares from the 50s to today, jap to GM and everything inbetween and memorabilia, I also have over 100 speedway books for sale

At this moment in time it has zero chance of happening, however other teams might be, whether that’s in time to save the premier leagues sorry affairs remains to be seen

Where has all this Wolverhampton talk come from ? Wolves ain’t coming back anytime soon and even if it did it wouldn’t be under CVS

So the bspl don’t tell the public the AGM isn’t happening till January until after it was supposed to happen yesterday even though through gossip we knew anyway, the contempt for the fans is off the scale with these people,over the last few month or so the governing body have really shown their colours, they don’t answer the phone, they don’t reply to emails and they don’t give support to clubs trying to come back or start up,they don’t turn up to the speedway show on Saturday even though it is literally peanuts to have a stand,I’m holding back here I could say more but I don’t hold up much hope for the future of my sport and yes every one of us own this great sport 🤢

And throw away their local meetings with Edinburgh, worky Berwick and even Redcar, not a chance, the current situation that the premier league finds itself in isn’t Glasgow's problem, wasn’t caused by Glasgow and won’t be fixed by Glasgow, if anything Glasgow should be asking the top teams to join them in the Championship

I just don’t get why for next season at least they just don’t try to MAKE IT WORK for 1 big league and see where they are in 2027, I believe there is some news next week but whether this is elusive 6th team I don’t know, but this is a real mess and is doing speedway no favours whatsoever

Well both the bspl and the government are both broke

Imagine if the sport’s governing body had an action committee that swung in to action whenever there was a whiff of a track being redeveloped because believe it or not the laws are actually on our side in a lot of cases, we just don’t know it or in the case of the speedway governing body just don’t care
