but Poland are putting out a good product and giving their fans what they want , many of us Brits went to gdansk v Torun on Sunday ,as a meeting it was crap, no passing ,result sorted by heat 8 but it was a must to be there , the atmosphere was something else and as a social event it ticked the boxes and did it make me want to go back ? Hell yes , we deserve our crowds ,we created this mess -

im suprised he hasnt made a statement laying the blame for the state of speedway firmly at my door then, doesnt matter to me anyway cause next season I will be as a fan officially withholding my services so I will get s ban -
Well in all The Torun GPs Ive been to I have never felt so ripped off and angry as I do now ,despite the SGP site advertising seats available there were non apart from VIP tickets so I thought why not so paid around £220 for two VIP seats (£150 more than standard tickets ) ,got to stadium to find out they are only VIP seats and you dont get the parking , goodie bag and food and drink , for that you has to pay another £60 each, so basically just paid for better seat, got into our seats only to find they are restricted view and by that I mean couldnt see the forth bend at all , we moved into some other seats but had our view obscewerd by the tv camera man and to rub it really in you could see seats available on back straight and bends , I am fuming 😡update on this , we writ an email to bsi with pictures explaining the situation we had , they replied back saying basically not their problem its torun problem but they would take this up with Torun on our behalf , we have heard twice off bsi saying not their fault but we have not even had a reply off Torun and niether have bsi , to me an offer of a couple of free tickets to a GP from bsi should of been a must as a good will gesture even if not their fault but obviously customers dont seem to matter to them , we are as of this moment forwarding our complaint to Torun again , I am very dissapointed in both Torun and bsi

Woffinden Or Harris
THE DEAN MACHINE replied to PHILIPRISING's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
While I dont like guests I dont agree woffinden should be allowed to do one meeting , he basically blows british speedway out then when he has no other meetings and his GP hopes are all but dead he wants British speedway, I didnt agree with it last year and I dont agree now, no Im not a fan of woffinden and I think he is being disrespectful to British fans who want to see him but only when it suits his agenda -
maybe but you witnessed the fiasco of the solid block tyre , the riders will kick up a stink to anything that changes the ride of the bike in some cases justifiably , if you were to fit the 80s Carlisle tyre to the modern bike nobody would get round the first bend , the bikes need to change with the tyre but thats not going to happen , at the end of the day the riders are not interested in getting a wet meeting on if it means they will have to change the way the bike rides which is what a different tyre would do ,mitas or whoever could bring out a wet tyre but I just think it will end in the same farce as most ideas like silencers, tyres etc , one rider cant win a race then they all gang up and next thing you know the use is suspended
-
vision but I just think riders today are too fussy , the.bikes do skid around a bit but riders are skilfull enough to adapt they just dont seem to want to , my attitude was if Im there we start the meeting and if we start we finish no matter how much it rained , I.never got a meeting called off but as a captain I sometimes had to go with the other 6 even if I did disagree with them

the strange thing is the polish fans dont like fridays and they get low crowds in comparison to Sundays but I guess its the TV that counts -

I just saw that they are showing the relegation playoff next week on BT , I think I will watch it on polish tv as its going to be cringeworthy when Kelvin and Nigel have to explain that some of the riders will be riding against their own teams and possibly relegating them , at least on polish I dont understand what they are saying -

yes there is enough riders , it has been proven many times , when will people understand this message , British speedway is dying , fans are not attending anymore so whatever we are doing now has got to change , points limits , doubling up, prices , its got to change -

and the lucky ones will be choosing Poland when they enforce their one team policy next year, british teams are not loyal cause they can just go and use some other teams riders and that is ridiculous , take away doubling up and teams will be more loyal cause they have to be ,british speedway has created this problem ,it is our own doing and now we are being punished for it and riders are quite frankly loosing the point of team speedway because they are just chasing the £, they are pretty much individuals now like in motox or other motorsports who the team sport doesn't exsist and they are just using the teams to meet their ends and there in a nutshell is why team speedway in Britain is dying, the fans cant adopt the riders as their own , take away that bond and you dont have team speedway .we should just forget teams and make speedway an individual sport where riders just ride for prize money like it is in the USA
