  1. You are concentrating so much that literally anything can trigger you flinching, whenever I was gate 2 or 3 I would always look forward at the tapes rather than across the guy off 1 or 4, it’s strange but even if you off 1 looking at the magnet and someone off 2 jumps it can still make you jump, you can’t see them as you looking other way but it’s like you can sense a movement, that moment between green light and tapes going up is so intense
  2. Rode for Peter half a dozen times and he is a very clever thinker and team manager and yes has a very dry sense of humour but I have never understood how he been so successful especially with individual riders on the world stage but then again the Peter Adams you pay for individually and the team manager Peter Adams are 2 different people and I suppose if I told him that his reply would probably be “I never understood why you thought you could be a speedway rider” 😂 I also rode for his brother at stoke and mildenhall John Adams who tried so hard to be Peter but just didn’t have it at all
  3. Good entertaining meeting, Toruń deserved winners, it’s never a good look moaning about another rider when you have been owned numerous times on your own track
  4. Should zmarzlik’s go there ? Block pass definitely but could zmarzlik have stayed on, imo yes
  5. Zmarzlik’s ability to read situations and react quickly is a cut above anybody else in world speedway
  6. What’s with the 3 armed gaurds at the start gate, they expecting Nicki to kick off 😂
  7. Someone needs to make a big banner to display at belle vue saying “Get discovery out of speedway”
  8. I know it’s a strange thing to say but crashing is quite exciting, it’s the pain that is the downside, thing is when you get wiped out by someone you don’t see it coming and it’s over before you can blink and if you’re lucky enough to not be hurt like I said it’s quite exciting really and young man lol oh yes I was one of those once
  9. Not that I agree with doing it but it does highlight the fact that riders are too pally pally these days
  10. I’ve noticed a few riders using nose clips again, these were the rage back in the 90s but seem to be a thing again
  11. I don’t think there is a uniform answer to questions like that cause different riders like different things, I loved racing in the rain and wet tracks but someone like Jaimon lidsey doesn’t like wet tracks but we raced different engines so we would have different views
  12. A wet track is really easy to ride if there is no dirt on it, it’s just like riding on smooth ice but you don’t rev it hard going into the corner, you sort of feel your way into the skid but once that line has been used it automatically begins to dry and traction becomes normal visibility will be the main issue which for the first few races would be next to zero after the entry into first corner
