  1. Advice and support costs nothing but as cradley showed when they contacted the governing body when asked questions by their planners, not only were there no answers but they were nigh on impossible to get hold of to which the planners who deal with all sorts of governing body’s from various sports were quite taken back and also what is the problem with sport England and speedway ? I understand they prefer participation sports but they will not touch speedway with a barge pole
  2. Just like to say for my son who is in a wheelchair the park and ride which they tell you is not wheelchair friendly is not really going to work is it ?
  3. Sandwell council with government money is planning a new wheels type project like they had at Birmingham wheels which was sucessful in getting kids of the streets for 40years until corporate money got it’s way, anyway they want a motox track and other wheels facility’s along with maybe workshops to learn kids the basics of the bikes/cars or whatever they ride/drive, anyway speedway was not mentioned in the initial plans but now speedway has had some meetings with Sandwell and they are keen to get it involved, what is encouraging is the government and the council finally seem to understand things like wheels project are needed and are keen to see it go ahead, fingers crossed. Just like to add that the governing body of speedway are not involved in any way because quite frankly they are useless
  4. A good example of the system working was Derick Snedden, criminal in his youth taken to Linlithgow track by the police to see if they could rehabilitate him, went on to have a fairly long career in speedway
  5. Anyone seen or heard of anything of this great white hope for British speedway ? I saw the MP Phillip Davies write a big piece about greyhounds so he is still alive, Harry Redknapp has been on various media outlets talking about anything and everything except speedway, Rob Godfrey tells us the are working feverishly behind the scenes, a few little snippets of info about this amazing organisation might be a start or even just to let us know it’s still a thing
  6. Not quite as gripping as ignore but maybe it’s just a slow burner
  7. Along with the Dutton ranch I been waiting for the new series of ignore, well I saw the new Dutton ranch last night so here’s hoping for the nail bitting next episode of ignore anytime soon
  8. Well yes but guests are not the alternative, there is enough riders, gorzow tonight was the classic example, polestad should of been in 1-7 and 1 of the other 2 make up the 7 and must have at least 3 rides, it’s not hard
  9. Leon sick note madsen is how he needs to be known from now on, every interview he is not feeling well
  10. They need to close the loophole that a couple of teams are exploiting by not using a riders in 1-7 and using a number 8 instead, gorzow had 2 riders tonight that were not used, I’m not blaming them because the loophole is there but it needs closing.
  11. This is basically the angle that British speedway needs to adopt, getting the message over that the general social aspect of speedway on both sides of the fence is an asset to society and not pander to the few inconvenienced few
  12. Crap racing but great atmosphere in gorzow, madsen if I can’t beat them I’ll just ram into them
  13. Kubera is dreadful so far and madsen is performing way below expectations
  14. Surely frick has to go for that but can’t see it continuing anyway
  15. Fantastic atmosphere in Gorzow, tapes issues in grudiadz and it’s raining again
