I got a call from Len asking if I would come and ride for rye house, I was interested as I’d always liked rye house track, first thing I remember him saying was he was just touching base with me, I had never heard that saying before and it made me laugh,we had a fairly long chat over the phone and he ended the call by saying he had a few options and he would be in touch, I heard nothing so after a month or so I called him and he denied ever calling me 😂 needless to say I didn’t join rye house

I did get a message today from someone saying they were only running national league in 2026 but where they got that from I have no idea and I can’t find it anywhere else so hopefully it’s crap, we can’t afford to lose BV

I agree, I actually think BV would flourish in a one league set up , but if they run NL then they have lost my family’s custom, we would rather go Buxton for NL and if they run in a 5 team league we would go to a few but not many, probably see each team once

Unfortunately it sounds like lemon is doing the same, BV in the national league only and Ipswich potentially not running at all is catastrophic for the sport, both completely avoidable but are we dealing with stubbornness preventing a proper solution

Who in there right financial mind is going to throw money at this irrespective of what they call it, if I had millions I wouldn’t and I love the sport
