  1. It’s a simple idea but not simple to implement, there are factors like engines, finding a happy medium of what different riders would accept, you can’t just put a standard engine in and expect someone who is built like Dan bewley to ride the same engine as someone like matej zagar, there has to be a compromise between the 2, meet half way if you like, who supplies the engines ? and who services them? there are a whole variety of factors that are not obvious to the general fan but I believe it can be done but not overnight, it’s needs to be floated now and use 2026 to test and iron out the problems with 2027 to roll it out, it won’t happen though
  2. I have a plan around that very basic Idea but it has a lot more detail and and overcomes a lot of the issues that arise from the concept of outsourcing the equipment from the riders,I have spent a few months working on it, talking to some people in the sport who understand the workings of the concept, I am planning to float it on a podcast soon but I’m sceptical it will fly not because it’s a bad idea but because to get anything going in speedway someone has to be making money from it
  3. And he did it by passing them too not just gating over them
  4. It’s Buxton hitmen and if you’re using the high name it’s high edge not high peak
  5. I do agree about the hangers on but that’s widespread in speedway in general, I’ve been pointing out some of speedways greatest freeloaders for years and they don’t like it either when you point them out
  6. I do like the visual professionalism that GB projects but is it producing the results ? Outside lambert and bewley where are we ?
  7. Despite having team Kevlars I thought it was good to see race jackets with the flag of the country on, thought it looked very traditional and I am a fan of team Kevlars
  8. When the riders came out for their victory lap before going on podium why did they have helmets on and why did they all take their fork covers off ?
  9. Yes but that wasn’t the GB set up it was the national league
  10. This was my point earlier about the GB set up, is it really working as bewley lambert and woffinden were always going to be established stars but after those 3 it’s quite a big gap
  11. Anyone who excepts the race with the 3 riders not making the 2 minutes and not being excluded is the type of person who accepts timo lahti is a swede, everything that’s wrong with speedway, rules are fricken rules
  12. The pole did deserve to go but rules are rules, what if it was the last race and the title depended on the result ?
  13. Kelvin, unfortunately they are the rules , well they weren’t the rules a few races ago
  14. How can you exclude the pole on the 2 minutes, it’s a shambles
  15. Looking forward to the great experience tag line dished out by maggie vatcher in the star next week
  16. But if it’s a rule he should stick to it because if it happens to anyone else now he can’t exclude either
  17. Can’t believe his pit cap is being shown on tv live around the world
  18. 1000s turn out in the town of Toruń to cheer on their team but nobody goes to the SON
  19. Is not Joe Thompson a better pick than Luke Harrison or Luke Killeen ? And what about William cairns or Cooper Rushen?
  20. What did happen that has any relevance to the Buxton hitmen or bulls ?
