I think that run out on January 6th

If Ipswich is a cert then there is no reason a fixture list can’t be put out with TBA for potential Northampton meetings, if then Northampton doesn’t happen supporters will understand, for season tickets just add a play off or some other meeting or 2 into the season somewhere

I said this on the speedway 360 podcast back in December, if we were a mainstream sport we be crucified in the media over this, luckily we are not so nobody is seeing it in all it’s catastrophic glory

You do have to wonder what the hell is going on, the silence is worrying, have both deals fell through and they don’t have a league ? Mayfield for me are doing themselves no favours if they are taking over Ipswich and in the GPs and the silence from the bspl is staggering, this can’t drag on any longer it needs sorting now, despite all the issues involved in getting it to work they should of gone one big league this year
-
That’s my point really, it’s not so much the price, it’s what am I getting for that price ? Cardiff was a great day out as you say and imo should of moved to a new venue a few years before its demise, the GP for me should be something different, an experience, I’ve booked Poland again this year and if I’m honest I get more of a buzz from the experience of the league matches before and after the GP but even on GP day the towns are buzzing, belle vue is literally just a meeting and that’s it and as much as the racing is great I can get that experience on a league match there for a third of the price, I hope it’s a success again and hopefully a sell out but it’s just not for me I want something different

As we sit here twiddling our thumbs I was just reading a pole of the most boring sports in peoples opinion and of 1000 replies nobody said Speedway, now that can be took two ways either nobody finds Speedway boring or nobody finds who voted has heard of it,just for the record, curling and cricket were the most nominated

Remember when that one guy came into your work telling you about a new pyramid scheme and we all put money in and it in reality turned out to be a scam, this speedway futures Ltd is giving off the same vibes at the moment
-
So with no winter income the 4/5/6 premiership are stumping up the £??,??? wages ? But listening to rob Godfrey he seemed to give the impression Phil was working for speedway futures Ltd ? Who unless have sponsors stumping up the cash also have no income
-
Who is actually paying Phil morris ? He isn’t on the bspl board as he not a promoter and he not listed as a director on speedway futures Ltd, so who exactly is he working for ?
-
Well it been another couple of weeks, beginning to think all is not well in negotiations, how much longer? It past ridiculous at the end of January

What about Northampton?
THE DEAN MACHINE replied to RoundTheBoards's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Perhaps we have got this all wrong? To find out what made speedway so great back in the day the bspl and speedway futures have been watching old episodes of world of sport with Dickie Davies and they have put their collective heads together and decided that Kendo Nagasaki is the marketing idea to follow, Northampton will not be revealed to the public until a few years time and compete all their matches as a complete mystery to the public, see there is us lot slagging them off when really a genius idea was being implemented all along -
personally I don’t have a problem with it, we have a rider shortage crisis right across the board and the more riders that want to ride the better, the litmus test for me is if the people who pay to watch it want it then it’s ok

Mildenhall have signed a pole, pole in Nora league ? Wrong or right ?

What about Northampton?
THE DEAN MACHINE replied to RoundTheBoards's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Have the bspl become so desperate and tunnel visioned in their quest to get Northampton running they have forgot what their actual job is ? They have practically isolated and ignored the fans and even the other 4 teams to a degree since November to the point now where even the most loyal fans are getting fed up and if like me thinking is it worth it anymore, this winter has been one of the most damaging to its credibility winters the sport has ever had -
Bradford bulls posting about their massive attendance last night of 10,000 and the pictures of the stadium look pretty full, am I missing something? The stadium as far as I’m aware hasn’t changed and has a capacity of over 26,000 and was even more back in the 80/90s, so it was less than half full ? But doesn’t look it in the pictures
