I agree about the rule but as we are at the moment it isn’t a rule and therefore someone had to go

Common sense isn’t a rule, there should be a rule for such events but there isn’t so you implement the rule that is in place,what would ref of done if that was on next lap ? Lidsey was the only one that caused the stoppage, he was on the floor, the only reason it was stopped, fault or not

Yes I am a hypocrite but when it comes to speedway it’s the one thing I want rules implemented

I agree but rules are rules otherwise they aren’t, change the rules or stick to the rules

So he interrupted a rule that doesn’t exist and made up a rule that he believes does exist and although fair on all the riders went against the rule book, only reason race was stopped was lidsey on floor therefor the cause of the stoppage, yes the rule book is at fault here but rules are rules
