I don’t care if a rider has a bad night and doesn’t score or gets 1or 2 points as long as he gives it his best and that didn’t happen with Kurtz last night, in his first 2 rides he was shutting off down the straights, it wasn’t till his last ride he actually looked like the rider he can be, in my book that’s unacceptable, we paid over £120 with petrol to watch 14 riders give their best and Kurtz and to a point sayfutinow didn’t give it, zischie was had a poor night but at least you could see he was trying and pretty much riding to his ability,I feel sorry for any BV fans that made the trip last night, you were short changed, also considering the size of the crowd and it was big the atmosphere felt flat

200 mile round trip to Ipswich,not the most exciting meeting,currently stuck on closed M6 motorway because of accident, should of been home 45 mins ago, highways agency saying motorway reopen 3am, oh the joys

Don’t they say Something is only worth what people are prepared to pay for it and clearly not enough people think the product is worth what they are being asked to pay

What is Mike lemons thinking with the reserves, mullford gets taken out of his second ride leaving big gap between rides, he then gets a decent 2nd and gets took out his last ride for zischkie who hasn’t beat an opponent

Utter rubbish Mike and you know it zmarzlik doesn’t do self preservation rides ever, I watched him in a Benifit meeting last year for some disabled kid and rode like his life depended on it

The money isn’t for him, pay him enough he be here and you would get 100%

He has to ride every track presented to him as does every rider, some smooth some not, it’s only the extraleague tracks which are smooth, some of the 3rd league polish tracks are sometimes rough and ready and when he goes there for test matches or individuals which is what they do in Poland and he is always 100% and just the point there is nothing wrong with this track, the harder you ride the easier it is

And right there is why I will always want zmarzlik over Kurtz to be world champion, zmarzlik would never of put a ride in like that, he would of busted a gut even for a single point, Kurtz didnt try

There is lots of available land around Wolverhampton but it costs money and lots of it and that’s what we don’t have

They weren’t small showers though, suns out now so hopefully it drys out

In Ipswich now suns out but it has been heavy showers any sky is Black over pavels mothers with a fabulous rainbow

And my case in point is CVS in speedway star today, not a idea unless he is advocating every rider buying and old jag and putting the bike on the back of it, he says the last time we did one big league the fans enjoyed it but it wasn’t a success, stupid me thought speedway was for the fans

I don’t believe that, British speedway does have a place in modern society it just we don’t see it and we apologise and make excuses for what we can’t achieve and never think what we can achieve and that in the main is down to the personal running the sport, something that really gets me at the moment and I’ve spoken to a lot of people within the sport about this is not one person has a vison of where do we go from here ? Yes there is a plaster here and a bandage there but nobody has a plan or a vison or anything of any hope and that really bothers me

I believe the BV riders have this written in their contract which imo is a good thing and shame other clubs don’t do it, I heard one promoter say he wasn’t interested in it when it was put to him as an idea, absolutely everything should be pushed by the clubs to forge that bond with the fans and club, riders on the whole are pretty easy going and will do such things if asked but if you don’t encourage they will just get in their vans and drive off

The councils giving money to polish clubs doesn’t make the clubs successful, the clubs being successful make the council money in tourism, speculate to accumulate, it’s happens in this country with anything successful, it’s just speedway isn’t, Does anyone who lives outside say zielona gora visit that town for any other reason than its speedway ? So how do the council attract visitors to spend their time and money in their town ?

That is a very good post, in this country we don’t address the differences we make excuses why we can’t do them
