Joined a podcast team this week talking about all things speedway, on this week with Stuart Robson and Nigel Crabtree, giving my opinions about various subjects, they asked if I could share it,so here it is,what do you think ? Agree or disagree with me ?

I was really young when durex first sponsored speedway and has no idea what they were and also when dianetics sponsored wolves I had no idea of the controversy of them until I heard Chris van Stratton on a local radio show defending them sponsoring wolves

You would think the ref would of let them have a rerun for their fans and riders

Imo there are a cluster of ex riders who deserve the sport to offer them jobs for the boys if the want it and Tatum is one of them

That’s a bit unfair, no matter what you think about Tatum he has served his time as a class speedway rider and just for that he deserves the fruits that the sport can offer him

Everytime they show Dickson he looking around like hes on the run

That’s why I said he is a good opportunist rider because he sees an opportunity and he’s quick enough to react to it. He has never been an out and out racer.this is why I believe zmarzlik is the GOAT because all the greats have their style of riding which serves them very well but zmarzlik has everything in his armour, he doesn’t seem to have a weakness

But woffinden can in some races be one of the worst gaters ever to be in the GP, sometimes previously he doesn’t even drop the clutch on time

He will still win some races and he will still be the opportunistic rider he has always been but I can’t see him taking the big risks anymore, he has been bitten too many times now, imo there shouldn’t be be no wildcards, it’s either a serious world championship without wild cards or it’s a travelling circus with them

If it was done as it we suspected it was just for publicity purposes then surely Nicki Pedersen should of got the pick, both about the same standard now, both 3 times world champions but stoke up headlines only difference is Nicky’s headlines are because he is dangerous and seems to have a spat with just about every rider, mechanic and team manager these days, tai is because he swears a lot and thinks he is a modern day Ray Von

Ref is very inconsistent

Not a criticism in any way but it’s interesting that the twins have had exactly the same upbringing and mentoring right from the off in their speedway careers, everything has been the same but Dan seems to be moving on on his career and Joe seems to be tailed off
