I think initially there was an idea to do a lot of things, using the stadium to maximum effect but they put the blocks on that because ultimately they want the speedway out and it’s not easy to get planning on anything while there is a sports team there, hence, Swindon, wolves, get the team out in advance -

Really hope dunstal fails but it won’t because the worlds runs on money and morality doesn’t come into it,great to see even the greyhound fans are moaning about how far the new track is from the stands and are realising it’s dog racing simply for betting and not for fans of the sport -

From what I am led to believe despite the site earmarked for housing the stadium would be available next season as like most building projects nothing happens over night but being the single occupancy the rent would be treble what is it now, now that sounds ok if you had unlimited use of the stadium to do what ever you want whenever you want but that isn’t the case, which I believe is a cunning way for the council to say yes we want speedway and we offered you the stadium but you chose to leave as you said it’s unviable when in reality they have made it unviable deliberately -

They don’t have to be out, it’s just another months rent, it tells you in their press release, the last meeting is 25th against Leicester but this may change if they have to rearrange a rain off -

The same as if they get a rain off between now and last meeting, they will have to pay extra month rent -

They don’t want another months rent, unless a rain off where they will have too -

So Birmingham end there time at Perry Barr with a league match against Leicester in august, no farewell nothing, just like wolves did, no sentiment and it’s piss poor but do we expect anything else these days
