  1. Unfortunately there are too many people who think they are doing speedway a service with their constant criticism of the sport which isn't a bad thing but they offer no ideas or alternatives just shoot down every idea put forward , if I put forward a suggestion I don't mind people to say I'm wrong and explain why then offer an alternative but in the main they just say your wrong or your an idiot or whatever and that's it , I can think of a few , I've got pretty thick skin but I get why people get fed up with BSF when the same posters just turn every post into a personal spat between themselves ,so imagine if those personalitys were to be the people to work with the bspa
  2. It is in the interest of young polish riders to ride in England but the PGE and its teams don't share that view and certainly don't encourage it ,if your not a star in Poland your not well paid ,polish or otherwise , one under 21 pole was offered a really good deal to ride at reserve last season , his deal was based on points , if he scored up to 6 not including BP he was on poor points money but if he got 7 he was on mega money , only thing is he was partnered with the best reserve in the league so 9/10 he dropped points there and he only ever got 3 rides cause the other reserve got his others so hardly ever got his 7 points and ended up earning nothing ,he should of come to Britain where he was always in the team and had loads of meetings on different types of tracks and became a better all round rider , he did try to get a place in Britain but it never happened and now he is riding in a lower polish league
  3. it has but they don't want to see it , I don't like to go into detail about individual riders finances but some deals are truly eye opening for speedway , it's not that they don't deserve it but it's totally about speedway can't afford it
  4. This is pretty much spot on , the tail is wagging the dog and has been for a while now but put this point to the riders and watch the abuse you get , fans are treated like an afterthought these days
  5. Not detracting from the incompetence sweeping through the sport , the attitude of some riders is turning me right off the sport
  6. don't know but that will be a real blow to GTR if he has dumped them
  7. It's got to the point for me now where I think we should finish the British season tomorrow , have a good rethink and start fresh in 2018 , at the moment it's just in a big downward spiral with damaging issues happening almost every week
  8. been to that hotel a few times but always been in our car
  9. your not allowed to speak out against buster if your a licenced official , I was told that by an official last week over a different matter that they felt should be delt with
  10. no what you wrote is the bleeding obvious which has been said on here many times , you don't say how you would curb the spiralling engine costs and I hate to stick a pin in your bubble but the GTR is the only solution currently out there to try to address this unless you know better
  11. nicki pedersen before his accident can I ask why make the GTR a twin cam rather than single cam ?twin cams have always been difficult to set up for speedway
  12. while it can't compete with the GM on performance your kind of missing the point of it , if everyone rode them they would be working and riders would be saving a fortune but hey keep up the cheap jibes , that's how you solve any crisis speedway or otherwise , i would like to hear your suggestion to curb the astronomicle rising costs of engines
  13. Good to see Nikki back , never like to see a rider forced to retire
  14. One fault that has happened is the hardening coming off the big end pin
  15. his body language on the bike isn't one that is scared , frustrated maybe but not scared , he is mixing it on first corners especially in Poland
  16. Not many riders boil their chains anymore , I soaked mine in degreaser then jet washed them then put them in the waste oil that I had dropped from the engine then hung them up and let excess oil run off then fit ,, as long as you have a decent oiler on bike you will have no problems , I fitted new primary chains every 8 meetings but rear chain would last all year
  17. Many people would retire with this over them but then again many people would never get on a bike again after their first fall ,the fact that he is undecided tells you in his mind he has unfinished buisiness , there is not right or wrong decision , life is full of would of ,should of ,could of , if the desire is still there then I think he will race again but whatever his decision he has proven to be a world class rider and entertainer
