  1. Leicester 31 Rye House 29 after 10 heats, so he may well be needed - and would need permission to leave the meeting early anyway. Barring an absolute disaster in the last five heats or on the 40 mile journey there's no problem here. Worse case is a Panthers reserve in Heat 1, Chris not out again until Heat 6. Weather looking OK too
  2. I doubt that Steve, there's no way Wolverhampton/Cradley would want to lose two plum Bank Holiday fixtures - and certainly not this close to start time. RR at No 1 for Wolverhampton wouldn't have been the end of the world.
  3. Wolves v Poole and Cradley v Belle Vue both now confirmed as postponed on www.speedwaygb.co
  4. Perfect example of pointless speculation on here - any meeting is ON until officially postponed.
  5. That's a bit pessimistic at this stage Rob, Leicester to Peterborough is only an hour's journey. Wolverhampton for 6.00pm looks tight though. Option 3 in extremis is to use a reserve in Heat 1.....

  7. Tungate has done his 4H and 4A and averages 9.03.......... That average may drop in the future once Premiership clubs are given new Green Sheet averages, but until then it remains at 9.03.
  8. Ah, but a carrot picker should recognise a 'grocer's apostrophe' ...........
  9. The current Green Sheet (Issue 8 from 18th May) are the ones that will be used for team building. http://www.speedwaygb.co/files/downloads/nl17_issue_8.pdf
  10. Based on the latest green sheets, David's average will be 7.48 or less unless more than one change is made.
  11. http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=83087&p=2959912 With the current fixtures, the last Club to reach 4h4a will be Poole on 7th June.
  12. Even if such a declaration was approved by the BSPA (Art 16.3.5) it would be pretty pointless as no facility would be available for the injured rider as they hadn't made an appearance for the Club (Art 16.5.3).
  13. The asset situation is not retrospective - NL Clubs that held assets before the rule was introduced keep them but cannot register new ones.
  14. Coventry HAVE NOT folded....., simply taking a break while our stadium is unavailable. We retain our assets and track licence.
  15. No they don't. Art 16.1.2 of the regulations reads: 'A Transfer during the Season does not change this priority.'
  16. Meeting confirmed as ON (unless major unforecast rain arrives).
  17. Included in our Club asset base are: Conor Dwyer Dan Greenwood Kyle Roberts Ryan Terry-Daley Hardly veterans Of course Laurence Rogers has moved on, which lowers the average age somewhat ........

  19. 2017 is particularly bad due to the late finalisation of the league compositions. DU can work, Danny King was ever-present for both his Clubs last year. Many valid points above though. Would 6 man teams with no DU be appealing?
