  1. Also: 15. RACING RULES. 15.10 The result of a Meeting can only be amended if: a) the Referee has made an error in the recording of a heat or the Meeting Results or b.) that an absent rider, having been given a Facility is found to have ridden elsewhere in contravention to the Facility so given.
  2. Let's agree to disagree. You said yourself it took over an hour for Nick to go to hospital - which supports my timings.
  3. As you say, we waited 'over an hour' for Nick to be placed in the County ambulance. The fourth attempt at Heat 1 started at 8.40pm, so pretty much as soon as the ambulance had left and the medics were back in station.
  4. Were you actually at the meeting? The ambulance was on track for some time - once the track was clear the blading was done while the medics were still with Nick Morris. There was little if any extra delay once the medics were able to resume duties.
  5. Perhaps James has decided that numerous guest bookings as a 2-point rider are better than taking on full-time team berth that will give him a true (over 2 presumably) Championship average for this season (limiting bookings) and for 2018. If he has an upturn of scoring in the Premiership that may change of course.
  6. Wajknecht will be guesting for Simon Lambert, with the new declaration coming into force for Sunday's meeting.
  7. It's the GP Challenge final where, if any of the top three also finish in the top 8 of the main series, the fourth rider in the Challenge final goes through to the following year's GPs.
  8. Details Written by Wight Warriors Published: 13 June 2017 Warriors 37 Birmingham Brummies 53 (NL) Before even a wheel had been turned, the speedway Warriors were being dealt a dramatic blow when returning reserve Tyler Govier withheld his services due to a contractual issue. Down to six riders against the defending league champions who were still smarting from a defeat the previous evening, the task of winning was to prove too much and a heavy home defeat followed. For the Warriors, Ben Wilson started with two quick wins but he looped his bike at the start of heat 10 and took a heavy fall that looked to effect him later on, Connor Coles made a steady debut and James Cockle was his usual persistent self, however with the Warriors shorthanded in two races, they just had no answer to a strong Brummies performance led by Liam Carr, Zach Wajtknecht, Tom Bacon and Layne Cupitt. Frustrated co-promoter Barry Bishop reflected on a disappointing afternoon and evening. ‘We really believed that our new look side would be able to match and better the Brummies, but things turned sour when we failed to agree on a contractual matter with Tyler and his representative. With no time to organise a replacement, this thrust unacceptable pressure on to the lads and Jamie Sealey in particular. I know the result is not entirely down to this one incident but it did unsettle our guys needlessly and that reflected in some of our riding tonight. On a positive note, we ended the meeting with a super heat of speedway – a building block with which to move forward.’ Warriors will be hoping for improved showings this weekend as the travel to Belle Vue Colts on Friday and Mildenhall on Sunday. 9. That's not correct. The rule actually states '....then the MC may issue a revised MA, based upon actual rides if the Team re-declares.' Mick isn't old! We ran five pretty successful seasons before the stadium problem, and were ready with an attractive team for 2017. Not a bad record.
  10. Numbers game - as Lawson and Heeps for Tungate and Graverson didn't fit by 0.04?
  11. Your first two assertions above are incorrect, and 'Mad Max' is quite correct. In Issue 8 of the GSAs Danny King, Rory Schlein and Connor Mountain achieved new averages. Nathan Greaves was declared in Issue 9. Once again you appear to be confusing the team declaration rules, which Ipswich used quite legitimately, and the wider subject of how rider averages are determined.
  12. Current team total is 49.45, allows up to 6.86 to replace Kyle.
  13. The 16th being the day after Swindon complete their 4h/4a so all eight Clubs will have done so. If Swindon's meeting on 15th is rained off new averages won't be issued.
  14. You mean 6.62? The 4h/4a figure has no relevance
  15. Honours even as Jake beats Tom comfortably in Ht 8 Jake beat Tom in Ht 14 too
  16. Swop Ostergaard and Starke in Peterborough's line-up.
  17. I'm sure Berwick will have something to say if Nick Morris rides in Poland today - he's declared to lead their team at Peterborough at 5pm!
  18. There are no cracks in that particular regulation, Peterborough were simply astute enough to use it to its fullest extent. As to the wider question of averages, points limits and conversion rates - that's a different kettle of fish entirely....
  19. My comment was squarely aimed at the repeated accusations that Peterborough had cheated when they clearly had not. With the deadline for seasonal changes now 31/7 the GSAs will only be of use for team changes for around five weeks of the season - merely influencing team positioning for the final months of the season.
