  1. SR 12.3.1 governs a rider’s position in a declared 1-7. Reg 12.4.D.1 dictates their eligibility to guest.
  2. Rowe’s average is immaterial. Bates is an absent 4* RS, the facility (Reg 12.4.D.1) is a ‘same star rider of lower’. Rowe has a 4* RS grading. It’s unusual circumstances, which may well not have been considered when the rule was written.
  3. From memory, it's an unwritten rule ...... Andersen is currently in the declared 1-7, but yes they can revert back.
  4. My post was tongue in cheek, but that is in essence how a 'reversion' works, Berwick's issue 4 declaration is ignored and they rewind to the issue 3 declaration (which then impacts on issue 5). Fortunately reversions don't happen very often :-)
  5. Has he been taken out of the team, or not introduced yet……? By reverting does the new declaration cease to exist?
  6. Lawson could well have seven rides…..
  7. That’s the usual practice - ‘revert’ to the previous declaration. It’s not a problem in this instance, but could be a big problem if the averages had changed making the move impossible once Andersen is available.
  8. That's always possible whoever the guest, at whatever position.
  9. I don’t believe there’s any suggestion that a Club would be required to dispense with a declared RS in those circumstances, although it does seem that the team RS limit would reduce to 2* for any future change.
  10. Of course not, no rider can be in more than one declared 1-7 in the same league. Any rider on the Rising Star list is entitled to guest for another RS of the same grade or lower. http://www.speedwaygb.co.uk/risingstars21
  11. 'Phil the Ace' said: how can Rowe a none rising star as he choose not to be guests for bates Rowe appears on the Rising Star list as a 4* rider so can guest for another RS rider regardless of his own MA.
  12. On a +/- basis: Wolves +8, (+58 race points) Belle Vue +8, (+47) Peterborough +3 Sheffield +1 Ipswich -6,(-66) Kings Lynn -6, (-67)
  13. A guest or RR is available to cover any or all of the top three by average.
  14. Riss is second in the averages from 1st July. The facility available would be a Guest or RR
  15. Bad luck to miss his first meeting at No 1. Shrewd use of the available average - Rory has an average of 6.80 while Thomas’ enhanced average is 6.81.
  16. Read it another way - A CL declaration can exceed 38/39 points in any declaration before the issue of established MAs.’ As each team has a mixture of established and assessed MAs, I don’t understand what that rule as written is trying to say.
  17. No, as there’s a more recent established PL average
  18. I take your point, there's clearly a number of scenarios that the rule simply doesn't cater for.
  19. If it was just a one-rider change there would be no need to return below the points limit nor disturb the RS.
  20. It’s to be tested whether an incumbent RS rider would need to be replaced in those circumstances. My personal opinion- I don’t believe that would be enforced.
  21. Ulrich's average remains at 4.00 for the 1st July Green Sheets. I believe (from 'BCD's post above)he will achieve an established average after Thursday's meeting at Kings Lynn, which will be effective from the home meeting on 12th July.
  22. It seems that, despite the rule I quoted above, Scunthorpe's Team Rating was reduced to 2* when Ellis' inclusion took the team average above 38 but under 39.
  23. It shouldn't change when Ellis joins, the SR states that the 'Team Rating' relates to the initial declaration, not the latest one.
