I thought Joe Jacobs was only missing Friday night? As I have already said Friday's score won't matter if the Comets take 3 points on Saturday night, and all 7 from Berwick

Craig Cook was going to miss a Monarchs match at Workington last season despite being an Edinburgh asset, as he was told he had to race for Belle Vue at Peterborough in an end of season meaningless match. (As it turned out both matches were rained off, and Cookie scored back to back 15 point maximums in the rerun of the league, and play off fixtures!!)Edinburgh have 6 points, and Berwick, and Workington both have 0. If Workington take 3 points from Edinburgh, and 7 from Berwick they would have 10, meaning it wouldn't matter what happened at Armadale, as the Comets would top the section.

Then why is Kyle Howarth listed to be riding for Workington at Armadale, and not for Coventry in the same match as Joe Jacobs?

You would have to win at Armadale tomorrow for that plan to work.Alternatively you could pick up 3 points from the Edinburgh matches, then take all 7 on offer from the Berwick matches, then Workington would qualify, just a thought ;-)

On the subject of riders reactions, what was Claus Vissing all about on Friday at Armadale? Unless I missed something, the Edinburgh fans applauded him for his attempt to clear the track in heat 13, which was greeted with a V sign behind his helmet. Have no idea what that was all about, unless he was signalling he had scored 2 points!! ;-)
