Ipswich v Birmingham 16th May
the hobbit replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
No. Duff info as often the case on here. -
Enlighten me pleases…. Just who are you naming and shaming? Is it the person named in the article you quote or, his family member you refer to ? excuse my ignorance but if you are referring to the person named in the article, please tell me just what his involvement has been and with which clubs throughout speedway as in my 50 years of involvement, I’ve never heard of the person being in the article being involved with the running of any club!! otherwise, I can only take the inference that you are referring to the family member and again, to my knowledge, that person has done nothing to deserve being smeared by your apparent insinuations
-
Enlighten us then… who is replacing milik?
-
I suggest it’s you who should put their brain in gear. !!!!
-
Don’t be pedantic!!! Pinny makes it blindingly obvious to whom he is referring . surely you are not condoning the said posts are you? If you are then you should be ashamed of yourself.
-
He’s linking him by association snd also linking Birmingham speedway. , neither of whom have anything whatsoever to do with the crimes reported in the article. how would you like to be linked to paedophillia when you have no connection at all? pinny’s comments cast unfounded aspurtions on both Laurence and the Brummies which I feel could leave him open to strong legal action being taken against him why even mention the Brummies or, the family link between Gareth and Laurence? These events have nothing to do with the Brummies or Laurence so why cast such unpleasant aspirations? What benefit is there in doing so ?
-
Pinny, I feel your posts are the worst iv’e ever seen on here snd in my opinion, leave you open for serious legal action from both laurence rogers and Birmingham speedway. these posts should be deleted imm snd an immense apology issued to Laurence snd the Brummies. whatever the facts, one thing to be sure, they apply to GARETH rogers snd NO ONE ELSE

Spot on
-
Yes… in the Polish bottom league!!! No where near premier league standard. That’s his true level unfortunately
-
Do you not remember the Riss we had? The one who grossly underperformed and frequently gave up at the back, on lap two or three then rode his bike back into the pits untroubled when the race finished ? I know I haven’t snd I know the management haven’t either. Wouldn’t touch him with a barge pole

As much as I’ve criticised rogers in the past, how on earth can you blame him for any of the teams performances this season? He didn’t pick the riders this season, the management team as a whole did, rogers merely did the phone calls. as for the way the team is performing, the way the team is being run and the changes being made or, not made on race nights, this is NOTHING to do with Laurence this season. Those decisions are being made by Sam Ermolenko and Chris Adam’s. i didn’t expect t this current 1-7 ( that’s with Pawlicki, not NICHOLLS ), to win a meeting all season but I’ve been pleasantly surprised by our efforts in every meeting up until tonight. So much so, that I went to tonight’s meeting actually daring to think that we were in with the chance to get not only the win on the night but, to also have a chance of getting the bonus point. More fool me !!! This was our worst performance of the season . Three riders should have gone home ashamed of themselves tonight but if you had been there, you would have seen that Flint did well and didn’t deserve to be taken out of his last ride. cook was riding in the team not at reserve where he has done reasonably well so far so, he can be excused to a degree Brennan was outstanding as was Nicholls . how can a rider as experienced as Milik forget to turn his fuel on! What a numpty. You can’t blame Laurence Rogers for that now can you ? you can’t blame rogers if many many top riders turned us down and we had to make the most of those who would ride for us . Ritchie Worrall went on public record as saying it was disgusting that NO TEAM had offered his brother a team place then surprise, surprise, he is suddenly a Birmingham rider …. The one team desperately struggling to sign seven riders…. You can’t surely put the blame for that solely on the shoulders of Laurence rogers now can you ? Pawlicki getting injured pre season, was nothing to do with Rogers. That injury completely altered the way the team would have been set up and meant several riders were having to ride out of their planned position snd, Milik having to ride at number one where he was never going to cope. That was not laurence rogers fault. Pawlicki is back on Thursday and the team should be better balanced . I’ve been to every meeting so far home snd away and will be at kings Lynn on Thursday when our season truly begins. get your backside down to Perry Barr for the next meeting and support both the management snd the riders and let’s all hope our fortunes take a turn for the better -
Because in the latest set of averages, he is the lowest average of the top six!!! no idea what figures you are looking at. https://britishspeedway.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/p24_issue_4.pdf you need to look at columb C ( highlighted in green), , effective from 1st April
-
He also rode on Friday fir sirloins giraffe scoring 11 from 5 https://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/22343/zielona-ra-ostr-ch-2024
-
Scotty will not be in the team after Monday. Pawlicki will be at one, milik will be at five. Rest unchanged on Monday, lampart at two, cook at three, Brennan at four Worrall at 5 cook should be back at reserve as from kings Lynn on thursday
-
Milik thought holder was going straight on, not turning so he put it down to avoid being taken out by holder
-
Yes… he has already said that he could have made one more change at Oxford…. Cook for flint in heat 14 but as those of us in attendance debated, would that have knocked Leon’s confidence and remember that Leon had won his last race in heat 8 . A hard call… we were doing far better than any of us expected but, which way would you have gone? personally, I was happy to support whichever decision he made because there were pro’s snd cons either way and, he’d already shown he had the nouse and the bottle by dropping milik for Worrall in heat 13

Oxford v Birmingham Thursday 14th March
the hobbit replied to Aries's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Me !!! expected a tanking but witnessed a spirited performance. With Milik on better form we could have won. well done everyone -
No, at work
-
I’m going!!! God knows why. Yet another meeting where all I am hoping for is that it isn’t an another total embarrassment like so many of last years meetings were. I won’t hold my breath .
-
Yes. Press and practice is on the 11th
-
It’s not the 20 point home wins you need to worry about ( we wish!!! ), it’s the 20+ home defeats each week that are more likely to be our concern.
-
Have to disagree. I’m sure flint, Worrall, Brennan and cook would all have had numerous options. no problem with any of those signings, solid foundations. the success of failure of the team depends 100% on the last two signings.
