  1. Hopwood us for JPB Rider rep for Roberts. What points we lose from JPB, we gain from ridercreo for Roberts. Missing JPB, is a major blow snd takes away any chance we had if winning
  2. Just wanted to point out that tonight's Brummies versus Stoke meeting was completed in an hour and three quarters and this included a ten to fifteen minute interval Maybe instead of blaming all things Brummies for falling foul of your curfew YET AGAIN, maybe your promotion at Kent should analyse where they are going wrong and learn from their mistakes as this was by no means the first time and, unless they get their act together more, it will not be the last time the rediculous curfew comes into play
  3. any chance you could post a link to the article in the local paper PLEASE ?
  4. I think what happens, is that team team is re-declared with the incoming rider being declared as a "temporary / sort term " signing, specfically to cover for injury. what this means is that the average of the injured rider, is "protected" within the team . Tom Perry's average is above that of Josh Bates, so it doesn't matter what average Josh achieves, when Tom is fit to return, he comes back in on the same average he was on before his injury. It would be different if Josh permanently replaced Tom, as Josh would then come in on whatever average he had earned. This would only possible because Josh would have started on a lower average than Tom. If Josh upped his and thus, the teams average, that wouldn't be any different to any team member upping there average during the season
  5. You can keep the Elite League. I don't know a single Brummie's fan who wants to go back there. Many of us would be more than happy to stay in the National League whilst many would prefer the Premier League because of the larger amount of meetings
  6. I asked the same question on the Brummies Forum. The reply that came back was that the funds had been raised to assist in the rebirth of the Birmingham Brummies. As Tony Mole has now achievyed this objective, the funds are to be handed over to Tony. The people running the fund have assured us that all the money will go directly into helping the rebirth of the Brummies and that none of it will be used to help Cradley settle into Perry Barr. The people running the fund and, everyone donating to it, deserve the highest degree of praise possible and we can All feel proud that we have helped this great club survive. One major factor in whether or not the 2015 Brmmies survive, will be how many stay away fans return This includes those such as you Martin who sprout off on here and criticise others yet stay away from your supposedly beloved Brummies and choose to spend their time and money watching speedway in Poland and Sweden Many people in Burmingham and its surrounds need to decide if they are speedway fans or maybe football or rugby fans. If you decide you are Speedway fans then put your money where your mouth is snd support the Brummies rather than stay away yet still post on here as if you care about the club and the team Is National League speedway below you Martin or will you be on the terraces with us, supporting our team?
  7. Get real mate for peeps sake!!! Last year, most National League teams charged £11 per meeting whilst a few charged £12. I don't see any way we'll be paying less than £11 per meeting and having seen plenty of National League meetings, I can assure you that that will be good value for your money.
  8. crazy jack, on 25 November 2012 - 08:18 AM, said: . None of the midland clubs opposed it but Panthers said it would affect their business. rubbish horton said he voted against it and so did everybody else Graham Drury said the worst decision of the entire AGM WAS TO NOT. Admit Leicester Peterborough threatened to walk if Leicester came in. Birmingham and. Coventry definitely wanted them in. To admit Leicester, ALL the current promoters had to unanimously agree. Given the choice of seeing O Peterborough walk and a winter like the one two years ago, when they and Coventry threatened to walk, the current promoters opted to keep an established Elite League Club rather than admit a new one. It's possible they were motivated by self interest as most of them probably wanted to keep on the good side of Peterborough as they probably want to sign various of the Peterborough assets. Cynical but highly likely. Whichever way you look at it, PETERBOROUGH were solely and entirely responsible for Leicester being kept out of the Elite League
  9. It has come to light that the reason that Leicester were refused entry to the Elite League was that Peterborough felt that having Leicester in, would have been detremental to their business and, said that if they were admitted, Peterborough would WITHDRAW from the Elite League. The other promoters didn't want to lose an established club and, for Leicester to be admitted, the vote needed to be unanimous. hence there was a unanimous vote against Leicester. Coventry Promoter just confirmed most of thses details on their radio phone in tonight without naming Peterborough but I can assure you, it was Peterborough who threatened to walk away. Can't reveal the source but 1000% correct. I think it's disgusting and yet again Peterborogh throw the toys out of the pram and threatened to walk away. Maybe it's time to tell them to sod off and replace them with a forward thinking, progressive Promotion like Leicester as opposed to a club like Peterborough who openly admit to making heavy lossses and being liable to close or sell up at the promoters whim. Disgusting.
