  1. Hard to see what we can do. We seem to have missed the boat again. Not much room for manoeuvre - can't see any of the top 3 being dropped although Jacob's form has been in and out and Rory seems to have hit a lull in scoring - quite worrying as he looks likely to be number one in the new averages. Would be tough on Howarth but he might have to be dropped with Heeps to allow for some scope.
  2. Even if he is fit we need changes . Morris has lost his spark since going into the team. Heeps shows no sign of improvement. Would be hard on Howarth but he may need to be sacrificed to get a better balance at the bottom end as I can't see any changes being made at the top end unfortunately.
  3. Thursday still wouldn't have helped Rye House
  4. Hopefully Heeps at reserve at was was his home track in 2017 should help us
  5. Alarm bells ringing for Wolves. We are really missing Freddie as Jacob is struggling away. Heeps and Greaves struggling too. Time for a shuffle of the pack.
  6. The Wolves fans have had enough experience of Klindt to know what they will be getting. It comes to us all in the end Fourentee - no probs
  7. Add in the parking charge of £3 - free at Wolves and Belle Vue is more expensive. The free car parking on the street is not secure and the risk of having the car broken into is very high - happened to me once and one of my colleagues too. Not worth the risk.
  8. Quite correct. One of the more expensive admission and programme prices coupled with parking at £3 makes the prospect of watching the meeting on Sky far more preferable. The stadium without doubt has great facilities but Belle Vue Speedway is now most definitely a luxury when other options are available. Unfortunately the added attraction of Klindt guesting is unlikely to swell the number of Wolves fans Wolfie
  9. According to the Fixture List on the official site we now have 2 ELB Matches against Swindon as they are listed on both 18th August and 29th August
  10. Quite correct - Freddie is in the GP qualifier. Haven't managed to find any mention of the line ups anywhere - I assume they are keeping them quiet so that Wolves fans aren't put off from travelling. Wolfie
  11. Personally I don't think he did too badly - his score doesn't tell the full story. In his first ride Cook gave him a nudge on the first bend which wrote his race off. In his second he was yet again the victim of another tight first bend. In his last two rides he was quite competitive. Wolfie
  12. I thought Hansen was guesting in place of Peter Karlsson? Wolfie
  13. From a rider who was quoted at the start of the season as saying he wanted to be Wolves' Number One you would expect him to beat Kennett and Bridger with his previous experience of the track. It was very disappointing the ease with which they passed him - he was either too slow or hadn't learnt a thing about the track craft in his two years there. Wolfie
  14. That might explain why he has been riding like a Premier League rider then Wolfie
  15. He seems to have lost all confidence. Last night's performance was very poor - he looked like he had never ridden the track that had been his home track for 2 seasons. I think the clock is ticking. Wolfie
  16. Might just be a cock up on the BSPA averages sheet but a major one if it is. Very strange that it hasn't been mentioned anywhere. Wolfie
  17. Is that why he is back in Denmark rather than at King's Lynn on Thursday? Interesting that the latest set of averages issued on the BSPA website refer to Bech as doubling up, so where could he be going? Wolfie
  18. Scores don't tell the full story. Auty wasn't that far behind in each of his rides and battled well. Wolfie
  19. The track looked far better than some of the tracks I have seen at Poole. There was plenty of dirt and some good racing. Andersen's pass of Lindgren and Masters was excellent as was his ride in Heat 15. Thorsell himself managed a good ride to pass Wright in Heat 4 so not too sure what he had to complain about. I think the problem some riders have is that if there is a bit of dirt down they can't handle it as they are used to riding on super slick tracks with their engines tuned as highly as possible. Wolfie
  20. Exactly when is this new era due to start? Not much evidence last night of any new work on the stadium and housing creeping ever closer. Wolfie
  21. Great performance by Wolves aided by the Swindon riders inability to gate early on. We had our usual collapse on the right hand side of the programme as Swindon fought back mainly through the additional rides for the excellent Wright who set an example to the other Robins by just getting on with it rather than moaning about the track. Not many negatives for the Wolves as everyone contributed including Morris twice passing Nielsen for a point. Would be nice to see a bit more consistency from Joonas and Mikkel as they were a bit up and down. Hope Fred can continue this form when he is back in the heat leader role. Wolfie
  22. I was beginning to think I had made a mistake in booking time off for this fixture only for it not to be there anymore. Total joke.
  23. It's hard to see Leicester winning regularly with the team they have - and it's equally hard to see where the necessary replacements are going to come from. If the Leicester fans get disillusioned and vote with their feet it might be hard for them to see the season out. Wolfie Bjarne dropped them in it last year - is it really feasible he will feel any different this year? Wolfie
  24. I was surprised there weren't more Wolves fans there especially as it was the first meeting of the season. Wolfie you mean there is more than one Wolfie?
