Wolves V Coventry Monday 30th March

We just never seem to take advantage of our strong reserves. Kus should never have had fours rides Friday. Should be RR tomorrow and unless Doolan scored over 6-8 then mistake made again. -

Another poor management decision. Think the average supporter knows more. RR surely would have got between 6-8 points -

No bike issues for andersen, and therefore never changed bikes unlike Garrity. He was just poor. -
It's getting a bit of a joke now with nearly 7 points to play with. Doubt he'd get 3 the way things are?!
-
I'd make a change before Friday.
-
Doubt Jamrog will still be in team for Wolves away on Monday.

Well there you go. It's like Yarrow all over again. Nearly 7 points to play with and we sign someone that might get around 2! -
Sorry but even after this meeting and the one at swindon it shows Jamrog is not the answer. Time to review before we're cut adrift

Jamrog to score between 0 and 1 -
They rate us and the pole then 😏
-
We look a fair bit short when you see Pooles line up. Their Pole comes in under 4, yet ours is 5.5 when we could have had nearly 7.
-
Well pity we didn't talk to JK as would have done a tidy job 😏
-
Taken from cet: So did we really talk to JK??? So from that interview we're not expecting our asset Pawlicki to end up riding in the uk for Poole?! Coventry have completed their line-up by bringing in a newcomer to British speedway as Polish rider Jakub Jamrog takes the final spot. Buildbase Bees promoter Mick Horton admits the signing of the 23-year-old is something of a gamble as Jamrog is largely unknown in this country, save for some appearances in Open meetings, including the Brandonapolis in 2013. On that occasion he emerged unscathed from a spectacular crash but also clocked the fastest winning time of the night with a victory over established international riders Bjarne Pedersen, Krzystzof Kasprzak and Scott Nicholls. Horton says Bees have been through a number of options for the position originally vacated by Cameron Woodward due to injury and then Lewis Bridger after an apparent bust-up over equipment. Riders such as Przemyslaw Pawlicki, Mads Korneliussen, Joonas Kylmakorpi and Vaclav Milik have all been contacted and ruled out for various reasons. Horton said: Weve left no stone unturned over this last place, weve spoken to many riders who arent coming back or cant do it, and weve now got to the point where we had to make a decision. Ive talked to people who have ridden with Jamrog, including Hans Andersen, Danny King, and also Scott Nicholls mechanic who has seen him ride, and they have all said he goes well in Europe. I accept its a risk and it does leave us some way below the points limit (Jamrogs assessed average is 5.50, over a point below the maximum Bees could build to) but having done our research and looked into what the lads been doing, we feel its a good option. Ive spoken to him over the weekend and he is very keen and determined to do well in the UK. Hes also well set up with equipment over here and a workshop, mechanic and van so it wasnt a difficult deal from that point of view. Weve got to give him a chance, hes under no illusions that if things dont work out we will obviously look to change it, but Gary Havelock has a good feeling about him, and I hope everyone gets behind him. The one rider we could have got, who I would have gone with, was Kylamkorpi but he just priced himself out of it. "I like Jonas, but I honestly think he thought we were backed into a corner and he could name his price. He was asking for a better package than Hans, and that just wasnt going to happen.
-
Doubt he'll be there from June, especially if team struggling.
-
Agree but if going with a pole why not Pawlicki. The big question is how many he misses!
-
JK has confirmed on Twitter no contact from coventry but would be keen on return.
-
People need to learn the rules here!! 😉
-
Still think its klindt, but agree the backlash may have changed opinions of the management. I think signing klindt with the points available would be shocking !
-
If Coventry id be very disappointed when we have nearly 7 points to play with.
-
Think it's going to be klindt
-
If it ends up being Klindt then we'd be just making the numbers up.

Can't be summers!
