  1. Well done to Poole on the Best Pairs win, at least they have taken some silverware on what is a poor season by their standards.
  2. Lets hope Kev can bring us some more Silverware! il still stand by my early season prediction and say Fisher and Topinka could do something in this meeting! But as we all no anything could happen here.
  3. Just noticed Richard Lawson has a new website, have to say the Legoman in the site is quite good . www.lawsonracing.co.uk
  4. Not long to go until the showpiece event always enjoy the PLRC i get back from my hols the day before this so just in time . Anyone any idea when the details are likely to be released!?
  5. Congratulations to Greg Hancock always like to see Greg do well!! Shame about our boys
  6. Good luck Kevin and Andre safe meeting and il be happy! Would be nice for Kevin to win his 3rd individual of the year!!
  7. Somerset didnt win the pairs at home because they were NOT good enough. Workington won the fours at Derwent park because they were good enough. SO i ask, was with reference to the previous post was this a "disaster" for Somerset! yes NAjjer your correct i just dont get it.
  8. Was it a disaster for Somerset when they failed to win the pairs? And is Ricky Ashworth a disaster if he doesnt win the PLRC? Please reply with your answer as id love to hear it, .It gets better Well said Jenga.
  9. 2009 four team champions. Just to note i shall bare in mind certain peoples Bitter/jelous comments on Workington winning again, at the end of the day we didnt pick the venue. But one thing we did do is prove why we have the best riders in the league and i strongly believe the result would have been the same on a "neutral" track. As Stemoc says the thing that gets to me is we dont hear people saying that Somerset and Sheffield shouldnt get the big events at thier track...? Well done Workington on putting on a super show it was great to see the massive crowd on a sunny day. The only down side for me was the desicion to exclude Stoney!! very unlucky for the travelling Redcar fans, and other then that very unsetting to see such poor desicions being made. Also have to add that Ryan Fisher makes for good entertainment Some heats won in fast times and great racing thrown in there too! Mattt Weathers impressed me again around Derwent park so well done to him. Berwick also deserve a mention also for the efforts some great determined racing from Clews,Makovsky. Well done boys you can only beat whats in front of you and again we have some silverware, Say what you like Comets 2009 fours Champs!!!
  10. Great meeting in prospect, Sunny sky. Cant wait for tapes up tonight Come on the Comets lets have some Silverware!
  11. We're back in buinness!! Saturday cant come soon enough!!
  12. Good post!! Yes calling Nemo scum if i can remember rightly, For me it all adds to the atmosphere, i dont mind if people, cheer, shout abuse or whinge but one things for sure it will be a cracking meeting. il be cheering the lads all the way to the checkered flag!
  13. Yes really hoping Adrian is fit as we need him for this meeting, Without him our chaces are slim . all the same what a meeting it will be hope its nice weather
  14. Good stuff, hope its going to be a big crowd and nice weather!
  15. Looks like Stoneys up for the meeting according to the BSPA site. I wish him well im sure he will get a big reception. Good Luck Stoney, the legend returns
  16. Id really like to think your right, a bit of fresh blood riding for Britain in the Gps would be nice. As said before im sure it will help them as riders! But it is hard to see a real serious contender for the next British world champion..... The Gps are so hard and With riders like Emil,Ward,Woffy,Holder and even who Andreas Jonsson (Just to name a few) who in my eyes have a World title in them.
  17. From BSPA website: GROUP A: King’s Lynn (Darcy Ward, Tomas Topinka, Chris Schramm, Emiliano Sanchez) Somerset (Steve Johnston, Emil Kramer, Cory Gathercole, Simon Walker) Redcar (Ty Proctor, Gary Havelock, Carl Stonehewer, Ben Wilson) Berwick (Michal Makovsky, Josef Franc, Paul Clews, AN Other) GROUP B: Workington (Kevin Doolan, Adrian Rymel, Andre Compton, Richard Lawson) Edinburgh (Ryan Fisher, Andrew Tully, Matt Wethers, Michal Rajkowski) Rye House (Chris Neath, Robert Mear, Linus Sundstrom, Luke Bowen) Scunthorpe (Magnus Karlsson, David Howe, Carl Wilkinson, Victor Bergstrom) Should be some very close racing, Come on the Comets lets have some silverware! Personally the riders im looking forward to seeing are Linus Sundstrom,Stoney, Gathercole, Ward and of course the mighty Comets
