  1. Brilliant Grand Prix it had everything, Cardiff seems to be improving every year!! Terrible luck for Gollob but still one of his better British GP's. Well done Holder a deserved winner.
  2. If that did happen then that would of been a sad relection on the BSPA as those two you name did'nt deserve to be there.
  3. What sort of qualifications do some of these refs need to be in charge of high such profile meetings (or any meeting for that matter) some of the calls made were of serious cause for concern for our sport? Memorys from that year in Cardiff came back last night, cant remember the exact year or his name but the Polish fella made some shocking decisions then, im sure his licence was suspended, although i could be wrong?! Where is the consistancy, wether it be consistanly wrong or right....?
  4. Very disappointed after last nights British final, It appeared to me that along with the referee the Sky team had very little time for the Premier League riders involved ( Who might i add had every right to be there ). Andrew Tully's start from heat 1 was brought up in conversation until heat 8!! The lad didnt even do nothing wrong maybe got a flyer but didnt touch the tapes at all, then the worse comment ever came, something along the lines of he got in Nicholls way for a lap and a half - unbelievable!! Lanham - Belle vue? Schramm - Eastbourne? I hear people saying that its the weakest line-up in the British final for some time, well deal with it thats all we've got and until certain people start to give the "lesser riders" a chance it will be Scotty, Bomber and Kennett for some time to come! Congratulations to Chris Harris on his fine win. A unhappy PL fan.
  5. Well done Schrammy, im happy for him as he certainly deserves it after the effort he's been putting in for us this year.
  6. Glad everything went well for you lot last night, Bomber seems to like your track. Next weekend Bandits v Comets
  7. Passing galore at Workington, Happy that everything went well on the night. The Worky management and everyone else involved ( Big mention to Jacko ) in the organisation of this meeting done a fantastic job. Plenty of ex-riders there including the high profile Lou Sanson, But one of the biggest suprises of the night had to be the attendance of Carl "Stoney" Stonehewer have to say him being there just completed the night for me the greatest rider ever to pull on the big C race jacket imo, He even took the time to walk around and talk to the fans. The racing was out of the top draw too, every rider giving it there best shot. Peter Kildemand in only his 2nd meeting at Derwent Park already looks to be taking to the track what a signing that lad is!! Craig Cook and Andre Compton deserve a special mention as they rode their hearts out. Unfortunately John Branneys mechanical gremlins continued to affect him, Chin up John! Great night.
  8. Obviously this meeting was in meeting of Ashley Jones but i cannot remember KL being beat at home for a while. Well done to all. Well done Chris Schramm!
  9. Lawson senior V Leggy should be good looking forward to it? Who you betting on?
  10. In what was a tough field Andre done us proud espescially as he was having some bike problems during our win at Redcar last night. Congratulations to all the other riders.
  11. Just one of those unfortunate things in Speedway as we know. Looking forward to the meeting, Keep up the hard work Jacko.
  12. Zorro has always been an entertaining rider, He made it fair and square so good luck to the fella, hope he does well.
  13. If Workington were ever to stage a New years meeting id be there, Bring on the cold weather im missing my Speedway! Burger and a Bovril always help!
  14. Suprise winner IMO but Well done Steve Boxhall, glad none of the Elite boys got close - PL all the way!
