You could say that about most of the BIG meeting though..... And at the end of the day how many BIG meetings are in the north? its about getting the support in and trying to keep as many fans happy as possible from the BSPA's perpective id imagine. (Yes also the money to) Same with the PLRC being at Sheffield yes its a home track advantage like Workington is to some extent, but ive always enjoyed the PLRC at sheffield they always put on a good show racing an all, and it always seems a professional meeting. For us northen speedway fans everything seems to be 4-5 hours away so id like it if we could keep our BIG meeting of the north at Workington for a few season to come, Biased perhaps.....yes maybe a little but Workington is a nice big track with plenty of room for the supporters and not least our welcoming fans.

Richard Lawson remember , hope we have a better lead up to the fours then we did last year, when Nermark was injured and Stoney had an injured foot. it was nail biting stuff going into that run-off Nemo and Topinka!! Cant wait

Yes i think that was the case last year although not 110% sure. If it was up to me id have a cut off date and the top 2 averaged riders in each team take part.

Terrible exclusion couldnt believe Nicki was taken out That referee made a unacceptable mistake. Better luck next time Nicki. although full credit has to be given to Emil for the way he rode throughout the meeting a world champ in the making.

What a meeting from Emil Sayfutdinov (not sure on the spelling) i was looking forward to seeing this lad ride after hearing things about him and he didnt dissapoint one bit, really cant wait for Cardiff now to see him in action. Scott Nicholls- No doubt his GP performance will be talked about alot, But i think hes done all he can in the series and this will certainly be his last year, Although i do hope he proves me wrong i wish him luck. What has Happened to Jason Crumps attitude...? hes like Mr. nice guy now and although he is riding well seems to have lost the fight in him which shows in interviews....!

This is one of my reason id have all the young lads in Team GB they are up and coming and can only improve where as Nicholls is on the way down.

Well done Andre all good practise for the Comets looks like it was a real hard meeting i hought Howe would have got a couple of wins mind you? As i say its all good for getting back into the swing of things!!
