in local paper tonight the bspa have blocked rusty harrisons return and denham says hes talking to ritchie hawkins and mitchell davey looks like the comets season is over if thats the standard off riders they are trying to bring in we are better off with guests and r/r

sorry but i dont buy that as teams have to be declared to the away team a few days before pending late changes off coarse

yeah no blame should be put on nicki glanz the promoter should be made answer questions infront of the bspa

plymouth are well known for fielding week teams when riders are out either no guests or poor ones booked absolutly no ambiton to win

yes ive got to agree with what has been said about the people in the grandstand booing when ben was withdrawn the move wasnt dirty yes it was bens fault but it also robbed us of proberbly some good racing

dont think the rolling averages are a good thing as they are but it works for some and goes against others i think the reason the play offs dont count is because its classed as a little unfair that not all riders are taking part yet again theres winners and loosers in this the reason behind rolling averages is i believe it makes it harder for riders to manipulate there average

i believe that is correct but its been going on almost all season the r/r facility is only 28 days not all season like some others have been using there was nothing wrong with the move its just been made to sound worse than it was from both riders

plymouth didnt have to use a national league guest they could have signed a rider weeks ago when nicki glanz stood down due to contract problems and the bspa should have withdrawn the r/r facility a long time ago but at last they have so its a message to all teams theres a few more that have been using r/r almost all season its time it was restricted to the 28 days it supposed to be and no longer

well i wouldnt go as far as both coments above but palm toft was very good guest there was some entertainment from richard hall riding like a man posessed rene bach looked good fisher poor by his standards and also when he did gate he gave the position up easy not like him but it was not 1 off the best meetings unless you like seeing walk overs maybe have been diferent if barker hadnt rode like a 2nd halfer in ht 1 got pushed to the back on first lap and was very close to ashley morris going into 1st bend and tried to close a gap that wasnt there and the 2 touched causing ashley to straighten up and barker went down and took no further part in the meeting as for fishers bike i watched him trying to set it up in the pits and it was obvious he was having trouble trying allsorts then just before start time he got it sounding much better then started reving it that hard he was lucky not to blow the thing up

maybe not on new riders but they always keep the guests a secret till last minute

from what iv heard they dont want to run off regular race nights so the only option is double headers

i called you a liar as you said you had not seen anything regarding kyle coming back but 20 mins earlier on a different forum you quoted a statement that had in it there was talk of kyle coming back but you didnt reply to that 1 with the same atitude as you did regarding jengas in case you cant remember ive copied and pasted youre reply from the unoffical comets site below (Im sure its been said there may be a possibility of Kyle returning sooner than expected so perhaps we may only need to sign 2 riders and use r/r until Kyle is fit to come back into the team Hadn't seen that about Kyle Ayduck, would be great to find someone to cover Adam and Kenny then least then we could get a guest for Kyle until/if he returns, with the teams not getting into playoffs leaves quite a few good guests like Mason, wilko, who would like to come and guest for a team capable of winning trophies ) and the rumours started monday that a aproach was made to bring a rider in to cover adam which had been put to the bspa panel for aproval jenga like myself and others had maybe heard them rumours and come to the conclusion we are only missing a rider for kenny thats how i took it after hearing what i had heard before i saw the original post sorry im a day ahead of myself i first heard a rumour tuesday night not monday just to clear that up

if you had said offical rather than anything regarding then that would have made all the differencealso im hearing the rumours from a few different people not just conected to workington that there has been a move made to cover adams place going by the average of the person mentioned and leaving kyles place open for him to return then 1 was the correct answer as only kennys place would need filled

well all i can say to you davidj is as you have posted on the unoffical comets site before you posted the 1 above quoteing a post made about kyle returningso you are either trying to have a dig at jenga or you are just a wind up merchant full stop trying to have a go at others for no reason you posted on the unoffical comets at 12.18 and 20 mins later posted the 1 above saying you have not seen it anywhere about kyle coming back i will leave it for others to make there own mind up why you are obviously telling lies in youre post on this thread

kyle hinted himself he wouldnt be out too long when he was interviewd on centre green at derwent park he said it was a week to week thing to see when he was back rather than out for the season and lets face it we are more likly to find out from another track than from the workington promotion if hes coming back

what makes you think that

if kyle is due back and the rumours are right about a certain rider returning to workington(subject to bspa aproval) then a replacement for kenny is all thats needed and i believe theres about 2 weeks left before the cut off point for signing riders

was it not national league guest for ass riders in the old days maybe wrong but sure thats what it used to be but who knows at present

30 mins to start time 9 mile away still no rain but clouds building fairly quickly but not too dark

track looked good tonight but it was the driving rain they were not happy with how the track wasnt under water i dont know but it really did look ok to race

im 9 mile away looks ok over my way but which way the weather has been this week anything can happen

when peter karlson rode for workington whenever workington were at the isle of white karlson had to ride in his homeland sweeden and the only option for workington was national league guest so has the rules changed

about 15 mile away from derwent park but weather all around has been awful so wont take much rain tomorrow to call it off

roynon could ride regardless he is 1 of the top 3 the club picks 2 of the top 3 in averages

well if its around the same or bigger as stated in a later post then it must be classed as succesful as midweek meetings as a rule dont get as many in through the gates
