  1. thanks for reply ive asked a few times about this and none of the redcar faithfull would do the right thing and say the swales family were no longer involved
  2. curry is english food worked ok for me sky must be having a rethink first 3 gp's have been good viewing last nights was poor to start but then delivered some very good entertainment
  3. who preps the track at redcar now is it still the swales family or is it a new track team 2 weeks in a row big delays at the start time for the bspa to have a word maybe
  4. speedway updates site has been changed now dyer 18 pts instead of 12 and mitchell davey only 7+3 instead of 12+4 i think they had him so updater/texter must have had wrong riders down in some heats
  5. davey's score was showing 12+4 before on updates website when the meeting was running but now changed to 7+3 and dyer's score has changed from 12pt max to 18pt max
  6. in all fairness to michell davey he is always well turned out and he does have a nice tidy ridding style theres just something small stopping him making the big step thats needed
  7. the new averages come into effect on wednesday the day before they rode sheffieldthe rolling averages make it possible for riders like micky dyer to stay at reserve longer
  8. well the first 2 gps on eurosport have been good to watch bring it on i dont have sky sports so would welcome more speedway on eurosport
  9. good idea for a supporters night as for the not watching prem league on sky i think theres quite a few newcastle fans that dont like workington (please note i said quite a few not all )
  10. adam ellis didnt have a poor meeting the lad did ok yes he didnt score points but he was on the pace the 2nd half of the meeting just unlucky he was up against more experienced riders who beat him on the night personaly i was impressed by ellis who lets face it wont have rode many tracks as big and fast as derwent park in his short spell as a full time speedway rider
  11. not really any home advantage at workington its a pritty neutral track but its big and fast and not every riders fav
  12. there was some decent racing at times with some passing from both teamsand even more impressive was the quality of the juniour racing in the 2nd half
  13. adam ellis didnt ride too bad tonight after he found his way round a couple of meetings at derwent park and i think he would be ok id be more worried about ipswich no 4 and 5 if i was a ippo fan
  14. its not the number 1's thats the problem its the lower 5 riders that makes the elite league so boring +the fact that you race the same teams every other week
  15. hoggy is well liked at workington and would be welcome back anytime as presentor or in another roll but he made a little fool of his self thats the point some are trying to make
  16. the crowd was better but weather was better and the previous week it was newcastle for the 2nd time in 3 weeks nobody wants to see the same 2 teams race each other every other week
  17. lets hope soregardless of which team you suport a good honest tuff/close match is always good to watch
  18. the previous week we had hoggy as centre green presenter and he spent the whole night telling us how good the team was and how good albin was and how he would go great round derwent parkmust have been a different albin to who was there last night looked more dsangerous than good reminded me of carlos villas who rode for berwick a few years ago
  19. you can always tell the ones who watch the after meeting stuff and the ones who get the info 2nd handmills did come out after the meeting but unfortunatly flipped the bike on his first attempt at a run
  20. and if the tractors are gonna be out can they grade the track where there actually riding instaed of pointless track grading on the outside of 1st bend
  21. i spoke to friends who were on the back straight and they thought ht 15 was a clean start but from where we were it did look like robbo jumpedas for the impresive lewis kerr the red lights came on as soon as the tapes went up so maybe he rolled while under orders and touched the tapes before they went up as i didnt notice him catching them as they were going up but as i said the red light was on as soon as they tapes went did have a quick scroll down to see if it had been spoted but must have missed itregardless of paying ebtry fee we all have the right to voice our opinion and now the dictator has gone nobody should be frightend of making such posts as the fear of being banned has gone i would think
  22. have you actualy been this year as its only £13 to get in this season
  23. and maybe 1 of the most unluckiest toobut on form roynon is 1 off the best riders to watch of the modern era of speedway
