  1. and there would be a obvious charge everytime they came to inspect it
  2. and rusty maybe a aussie but has lived in uk for quite a few years now
  3. edinburgh all the others are english teams or could be rye house being the only 1 with double barrel or 2 words to the name
  4. same for all teams when they book guests they look for a track specialist or the best inform rider on the average that fits as always paul pritty acurate report and cant arguee the racing well there wasnt any really was therethe track was not at its best hopefully glasgow can make a change or 2 to give the fans something good to watch as ive always found the glasgow fans to be 1 of the more pasionate set of fans who actually know there speedway unlike the others who know there results
  5. looking at grieves i think hes lost interest the only rider tonight that deserves praise is joe jacobs he was the only glasgow rider that triedscreeny was good in the races he won but if he wasnt infront after first 2 bends wasnt that interested
  6. as a neutral i think that some especaly chris louis got a bit carried away paul starke is not what you would call a experienced rider and my view is he over reacted to kozza getting out of shape and went down but i do think he could possibly have got up quicker if he really wanted too
  7. hope the link works the new race cards that are free at workington this year are being sold on ebay if anybody wants 1 click the link first http://unofficialcom...lay&thread=3056 sorry didnt notice this has been posted allready
  8. couldnt agree more far too many speedway related things are know facts at other tracks before the clubs own fans are in the know
  9. couldnt agree more them days were special regardless of home or away any match with the comets was a real buzz back in 1999 the comets couldnt win a match but that was some of the best meetings theres been so its not all about winning its all about the atmosphere and the overall product
  10. 9 miles from track its getting brighter and the ground is drying out so maybe in with a chance
  11. proberbly because guest facility for bellego is not a option r/r maybe the only option depending why hes missing any guest is bound by the riders average/position hes replacing
  12. thanks for reply ive asked a few times about this and none of the redcar faithfull would do the right thing and say the swales family were no longer involved
  13. curry is english food worked ok for me sky must be having a rethink first 3 gp's have been good viewing last nights was poor to start but then delivered some very good entertainment
  14. who preps the track at redcar now is it still the swales family or is it a new track team 2 weeks in a row big delays at the start time for the bspa to have a word maybe
  15. speedway updates site has been changed now dyer 18 pts instead of 12 and mitchell davey only 7+3 instead of 12+4 i think they had him so updater/texter must have had wrong riders down in some heats
  16. davey's score was showing 12+4 before on updates website when the meeting was running but now changed to 7+3 and dyer's score has changed from 12pt max to 18pt max
  17. in all fairness to michell davey he is always well turned out and he does have a nice tidy ridding style theres just something small stopping him making the big step thats needed
  18. the new averages come into effect on wednesday the day before they rode sheffieldthe rolling averages make it possible for riders like micky dyer to stay at reserve longer
  19. well the first 2 gps on eurosport have been good to watch bring it on i dont have sky sports so would welcome more speedway on eurosport
  20. good idea for a supporters night as for the not watching prem league on sky i think theres quite a few newcastle fans that dont like workington (please note i said quite a few not all )
  21. adam ellis didnt have a poor meeting the lad did ok yes he didnt score points but he was on the pace the 2nd half of the meeting just unlucky he was up against more experienced riders who beat him on the night personaly i was impressed by ellis who lets face it wont have rode many tracks as big and fast as derwent park in his short spell as a full time speedway rider
  22. not really any home advantage at workington its a pritty neutral track but its big and fast and not every riders fav
