  1. but from whats been said scunthorpe and workington both fully understood scunthorpe made a statement or coment about dropping interest in a new rider due to the new rule about averages
  2. i also agree used to look forward to going to redcar but when stuborn people get involved things start going wrong its ruined workington aswell stuborn power crazy people dont realise the damage they do proving there in charge
  3. not blaming anyone just pointing out 1 sides rider has changed but not the other and interested to know why has 1 team be told something has both teams been told something or is it just people coming to there own conclusion like most neautral fans we are all waiting to see the outcome and it is off interest to all fans as to which way it goes and indeed if its the same for all teams
  4. there is 1 FACT and that is the 1 ive pointed out regardless if any or both are true or false berwicks riders average has been changed on the listing thats the FACT ive pointed out
  5. another interesting FACT on the allen/holder saga is in the 2015 signings section allen has been changed to a 7.00 average but holder remains a 5.00 is there something in that or just not been altered
  6. if it wasnt so obvious i would agree but i cant believe they knew the day before the team was anounced and still went ahead with team anouncement for that reason alone i think they were trying to get away with it maybe hoping the same as last year (if we pretend we didnt know they will back down and let us away with it just like last year)
  7. dont know if its still the same but wernt national league teams assetts classed as junior/amature contracts and didnt carry over to the higher leagues if thats the case you could both be right how about both donating £10 each to the fund if thats the case
  8. would agree with you hes proberbly more dedicated to long track but would expect him to do a job at speedway too
  9. and you know for sure he dosnt want to ride poland from what i was told from a member of his own family he was trying to get a ride in poland
  10. if i was getting the sack i would poroberbly have not been doing my job to a good enough standard
  11. too be honest i find it hard to believe they follow speedway close enough to know who replaces who they dont seam to care how many foriegn workers are taking the day to day jobs where i work we have less than 100 perminent staff topped up with a few agency workers when we get busy periods and we have 5 different foriegn nationalitys working with us surely if they werent working for us thoose places would be filled by british workers speedway is no different to other employments apart from the skilled workforce is not as high a standard in britten
  12. sorry but i disagree they allready stick 2 fingers up to the prem league when signing riders they can sign them and never use them the prem league clubs can only sign a assett if they use them for set number of meetings
  13. i was led to believe he had a ride lined uptowards the end of last season for a few meetings in poland but had to pull out due to the fixture back log in the uk
  14. hard to believe its 5 years still sad when its brought up though worrall wont be left without a job
  15. if there was enough british riders up to the quality we demand then you would have a argument but the simple fact is we need overseas riders to get the standard up high enough to run the leagues maybe explains why newcastle have not anounced many riders yet
  16. im not so sure charles fits in well down somerset hes liked by both the promotion and the fans but i do understand hes got thet sort of average that might just go against him
  17. they might prefer to keep him on a 7 if they believe in him and therefor would have to adjust elsewhere if it comes to it
  18. the thing is when you sign a 9pt rider you expect 10 to 12 points most meetings when you sign a 3 or 4 pt reserve if they score there average with the odd meeting higher there doing there job
  19. very brave rider is richard hall can ride the boards with the best of them at times
  20. glasgow is a team i would love to do well fans (allthough they have died down recently) were all very pasionate and friendly and also very knowledgable about speedway wish them all the sucsses they deserve as this is the redcar page id better say that i also think the redcar fans are also very pasionate about speedway
  21. lawson was never havvys kozza was in talks maybe but was never havvys theres a lot of talk about glasgow outbidding other teams if thats true where is the money coming from as glasgow have been pleeding poverty in recent years low crowds and low income?
  22. yeah proberbly did come over on a 7 or whatever but the point is all the foreign or aussie riders are not rubish british riders start off on a 3 if they dont have the experience and after that it shouldnt matter what country they come from it should depend what level they have rode at and all should start on the same assessed average 5 7 or 9 nationality isnt a indication of the standard you ride at
  23. think your being disrespectfull and josh isnt classed as a aussie he dosnt require visa due to his polish conection jason crump ,craig watson, mick powell, shane parker ........ must all have been rubish then in your book
