so did most of the stadium from the 2nd bend it looked like campton got it by half a wheel but angles are deciving and campton himself along with the grandstand spectators thought so too and the same when sam masters and cookie were team riding ht 13 was it sam slowed to let cookie take the win after he let him past early on and watched his back but the ref gave the win to sam masters lets face it the score line dosnt do edinbrugh justice they wer far better tonight than a 7pt victory we were never at the races too be honest -

morris at times looks like hes about to make a step up but instead of making that next step drops back a little which as a spectator is frustrating reserves cant be kept year after year if they dont improve not looking to drop ash but he must start to be more regular in the points even if hes not moving out of reserve berth he was more on the pace as the meeting went on at workington its just a pitty the workington riders were not -

James Wright - Making A Comeback?
scaramanga replied to skoobie's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
both james and charles wright were very good riders who should have went further than they did james did reach a high prem level and did ok in the elite at times but obviously lost something which a few riders do at some point was it lost interest or confidence/ability due to 1 too many knocks we may never know but 1 thing for sure is he was once a good rider and dosnt deserve some of the coments earlier in this thread he was poor when he last rode for workington and a real disapointment but i remember him starting at reserve and was a match winner all the way up to gaining the number 1 spot -
didnt see anything too impresive at press and practice air fense looks good and takes less track space than i expected hopefully next saturday will see the riders really getting to grips with racing rather than just bedding gear in

how many returns has he made ? cant remember him taking time out before and once upon a time james wright was a good rider but i agree in his last season or 2 he was poor most of the time -
taylor pooles signing was classed by sheffield statement as subject to visa so i would take it from that he has not yet got 1

no sweedish riders then just like when isle of wight were in prem league any team with sweedish riders had to use national league rider as guest in there place -
yes the powers that be should explain but obviosly this is speedway so they wont both somerset and the bspa should release statements giving there side of the argument the problem in speedway is the rules from time to time differ depending on who is trying to do what at what ever time of season
-
northside training track has a air fence no moaning about funding it too
-
ill be watching the progress of matej kus as im interested to see if the rider that once looked so good has lost it or the problems were more to do with being conected to redcar
-
whats that then the bspa are allowing the team as allready listed without any changes to averages
-
pritty solid looking team should allow liam carr to come along nice without any preassure
-
hoogy must be the best speedway mic man ive ever heard closely followed by michael max
-
luke crang looks promising but not sure if hes ready for full time prem league yet jan gravarsen can win you a meeting with a big score but can go 3 or 4 scoring below what he should kozza smith pritty sure this guy has what it takes and could be a good signing hugh skidmore and wilko both have what it takes and we all know they can bang in solid scores but they just dont do it on a regular basis would think richard lawson will be untrubaled as redcar no1 all season unless summers hits top form over a good few meetings
-
the thing is thease rules are not being policed fair some riders are being allowed in on the lowest assessed average possible either 3 or 5 points where others who have more of a argument to start on a 3 or 5 would have to start on a 5 or 7 respectivly the rule need clarified in more simple terms and teams should not be allowed to release riders names as signed or signing before the confirmed average and all paperwork is in place for tai to be given the average for a british rider he had to pledge to ride for gb instead of australia so if any dual nationality rider pledges to australia then he must be classed as a aussie and come in on the correct average
