ive read reports he will be coming in as a eu rider due to having dual nationality so dosnt need to ride in aussie national championship and thats also why he is a 5pt average not 7 that new aussies come in on
-
i wonder who that could be ? ive got a pritty good guess going by pevious redcar hostilaties
-
bspa worked out that palm toft reverted back to his 2013 prem league average not workington
-
so lets give starke and greenwood the 2.5% reduction on the averages listed in the 2015 section of this website holder on a 5 pt average puts them just within 42.50 team average interesting to see how this goes if theres any atatement from the bspa or somerset themselves or its just left as is
-
without holder i get the other 6 to 37.52 so even holder on a 5 the team is over the limit something not right somewhere either the averages listed or just total mess up of team building i was told in another thread there was no longer any reduction
-
read above sissis has dual nationality and has eu citizenship acording to post higher up the page
-
both thoose riders have been questioned in other threads
-
palm toft has rode workington very well in the past so i would think the promotors are looking at him as a 7 to 8 point rider at home and hope he scores a few away hes more than capable of getting double figures at derwent park on his previous form and riders only drop back down on old average if they only do 1 year in the eliete league it a sort of back up plan if stepping up dosnt work out for them
-
impressed at this signing for a rider to turn back to speedway after racing at any high level of motorcycle sport surely hes doing it for the love of the sport rather than the money if hes as good a prospect as he looked as a kid im sure he will be a very good prem league rider
-
quite easy really its all in hand somerset are going to sign him then cookie will pull out the deal and we will sign him on the 3 point average somerset were going to get him on

workington fans know all about ulrich's moves around the outside when theres no room when hes riding like that hes worth the entrance fee on his own -
it cant have been easy coming up with this team or it was maybe just luck lot of studding the averages to get a team that looks as strong in depth all with similar averages could be a year when the no1 chages everytime the new averages come out
-
andre compton was once a enemy off workington fans but soon become a crowd pleaser when he signed for the comets
-
in other words loan deal but well say you bought him to get first choice when dates clash

im sure a few teams would like simon lambertt on a 3pt avereage final averages on bspa website from 2014 list simon as 3.73 -
pleased about that
-
surely riders are not forced to ride in the elite league they would have a choice of riding just for 1 team or doubling up if they have ambition to go futher in the sport you can understand why they would take there place in a elite league side on paper looks impressive if roynon takes time to gain his form he would drop to reserve which should help him out a little with the team we have and the points left theres still plenty of options be interesting to see which way the team goes

hope you get the news your looking for great shame if a track like peterborough is lost to the sport -
would have liked rob branford at workington in his early days can remember him riding after the meeting looked really good some riders look promosing at a young/early stage then go backwards slightly before finding there adult feet
-
i couldnt care less if rene has thick skin he dosnt care about his team mates (or didnt last year) hes a great rider at times but how often did he through a tantrum last year the reserves were rubish when the beat him the track was rubish when he came last he couldnt ride with wells he couldnt ride with howarth really hope he ups his game this year and rides for workington comets instead of riding for rene bach grajzonek at the start off the season yes he wasnt too good from midway till the end didnt look the same rider that started the season did ok for poole mind
-
i agree with you on this and lets be honest do we go and tell everyone how much or little we earn
-
ive heard poole mentioned for cookie in the elite league
-
im not a fan of the bspe im a speedway fan but i was adressing the post direct and the poster took for granted that because hanson is danish he was more expensive than british bassed riders we just dont know the ins and outs of riders fees im sure some brits are on better deals than some foreign riders
-
do you know hes expensive ? might actually be willing to ride for less than some of the british bassed riders you have in mind he maybe actually wants to ride for workington unlike the riders you listed

scaramanga replied to Panthers89's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
