  1. too true thats what we all want good entertainment i can accept defeat better when its a good meeting
  2. really hope its a good meeting after the embarasment on monday hope the ref is a decent 1 too suerly there not going to let edinbrugh's no8 jim mcgregor ref this 1 live on sky sre they dont think the ref helpped giving out public warnings after first attempted start was it 3 or 4 warnings in first few heats but 1 obvious jump wasnt even brought back to tapes but i fully agree that was not a meeting to show the quality of prem league meetings
  3. we also had problems kept trying different things then discovered it was only on the 1 channel and figured out it was the poor feed from track side if you think the elitte league is that good consider 1 thing would it exsist without all the national league and prem league riders that are bailing the clubs out
  4. regardless of which team you support this was a embarssment for the prmiere league
  5. most other tracks have had offers on when skys been there wonder why berwick havnt tried to swell the crowd rather than give people more reason to stop at home and watch on tv
  6. well done expect the odds to be slashed on bomber to around 33/1 for cardiff unbelievable how much they cut the odds in speedway gp when a lower order rider has a decent metting
  7. typical thats my sort of betting luck
  8. do the home club still get money from sky or bspa to allow them to offer promotions to stop everyone just watching at home if so looks like berwick promotion not looking after there loyal fans
  9. between 50 and 90 surely the regs dont allow that much difference 40 yards is a big difference
  10. acording to my ex glaswegian brother in law everything goes in the frier up there nothing like a good scotch pie or haggis
  11. but how do they cook the scotch pies i love them but wont buy 1 in scotland can remember going in a chippy in the town area of berwick my ex went in when she come out she said ive got you a scotch pie but i dont think youll eat it she was right dripping in fat you just dont cook pies in the fryer workington have always been awful when on sky but if hanson is on form there might be some good viewing cooming round the boards
  12. havnt been for a couple of year but i always thought berwick meetings were always pritty good in my past visits
  13. i see where your coming from and sort off agre but were only talking rumours at moment think we should all wait to see the offical version
  14. the thing is we all would do more things if we didnt have to pay for it but once you start paying and as speedway goes now paying more than we really should for what we get back then you pick and choose what you actually do when it costs you money its not that you cant afford it its more a case of i dont want to spen 15 or 20 pound to go stand there getting cold and wet while they drag there feet inbetween heats
  15. there is room to go off track but stay off the playing area of the grass im not a rugby or football fan but when speedway tracks are around the outside of such pitchs or dog tracks come to that then speedway teams, riders and fans must respect the terms laid down them and regardless of the issue of the grass the fag marshall was a offical of workington speedway and alex davies was out of order in how he reacted to the flag marshalls instructions
  16. no need for this post no one wants the air ambulance but if its needed then obviously rules or guidelines come 2nd when peoples lives are at risk as long as safety guidelines are followed
  17. the answer to that is yes theres not loads of room but more than enough to push your bike along the straight till you get to the corners where there is plenty of room to stay in safe plce untill end of heat the pitch is well marked so its clear to see the edge of the playing area
  18. another thing that seams strange why hold a european pairs meeting on the same night as a gp on that note just like to thank janowski for winning the gp when i had money on him
  19. all clubs would like to win the league some try hard but never succed others expect to win everything when building teams acording to the wage bill and complain when they have poor team form
  20. dosnt always work that way but i do tend to agree with you
  21. a few have said for a while campton should be at no2 but credit to mason hes poping up with a few ht wins recently dont actually think thats true plymouth like sheffield last week were better than the score suggests
