real shame this and its 1 of the reasons i didnt go i wanted to but decided 1,i am very busy at the moment and really didnt have time to travel 2, it all seams to have been left a little too late fot it to be ready in time maybe they just havnt had the track down long enough -
still no matej kus listed at newcastle and rasmus jensen now at workington
-
thats ok we had rusty harrison and he got on well
-

good sponser for redcar in sg petch but the big question is just how much is that sponsership if no one else is willing to sponser a main sponser can get away with paying very little as with another main sponser in the sport in recent years i can actually confirm jenga does not live in a glass house its made of straw
-
im sure there will be more glad to see the back of armadale than sad

scaramanga replied to Paul Johnson's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
about 4 or 5 years ago that was the case before that the top 2 were at 1 &3 but as allready said top rider at 1 bottom 2 at reserve with the new 3 pt rider now at no 7 for this year the other 4 can be at any positon -
workingtons fixtures are now on there website so others should have releassed theres or soon will do
-
ive always seen glasgow fans as some of the most knowledgable and pasionate speedway fans in the country they tend to follow the sport rather than just there own team
-
i can garuntee at least 1 club didnt even know what dates there track was available on the 8th so the drafts wouldnt be ready then
-
sorry but you are wrong its got nothing to do with experience or what there use to dealing with the bspa acu or whoever sets the guidelines /rules are the ones who state unless theres a doctor in attendance speedway can not run so if the 1 and only track doctor has to go to hospitol with the injured party then no speedway will run unless a replacement doctor is brought in paramedics can not issue some drugs and if they are used by the doctor he has to travel and do the hand over to another qualified person obviously more than a average gp is needed at speedway but not 100% sure of what level the rule book states

nothing new here was anounced a few months ago wasnt it that he was retiring from riding to be rob lamberts manager ?
-
the post has been quite good this year from past experience i would most likely say it was actually posted late due to no staff in the office or not posted at all too be honest i stopped buying it a few years back got to expensive for whats inside most of it is old news during the season and filled up of some poor fill in articles off season
-
personaly i dont think the title can be bought not as in riders maybe in the influance of some team owners/promotors with the bspa obviously some riders will be influanced byt richer clubs but it doesnt garuntee sucsess on track
-
riders havnt been able to double down for a few years now and also there was a rule that a current gp rider couldnt ride prem league i think if the rider was allready riding prem league and qualiffied that was different
-
this has been tried before a few years back workington had tony dart and young courtney whos first name slips me (maybe scott) after garry havelock started to "manage" the young courtney and demanded big money courtney was dropped but yes i do agree it is a good idea to help bring young riders on and help them keep a full time job in allowing 2 to share the reserve berth

not many workington fans were disapointed with hanson at home the later part of the season the guy can ride the boards with the best of them -
ive wondered about this with the cookie conection cookie got him in at buxton and ive also wondered if when the time come cookie would have got him in at edinbrugh but expected that to happen while cookie was still riding there to help him out

its obviously someone with foriegn comitments when there having to wait for the fixtures to be confirmed and it dosnt actualy say proven in the prem league it says proven prem league standard how you judge this if the rider ihasnt rode in prem league before im not sure as alot outside the prem league dont understand just how competative it can be -
the thing with mitchell davey is everything looks right he is always well turned out his gear looks to be in good order and his style is nice and tidy the only thing that isnt there is he does not score points i always thought he had it but just needed to make that next step something as others have said just dosnt look like happening given the amount of time hes been around

pk can still do a job but the amount of meetings in the prem league might be too much for him -
as with all teams its not when they click its if they do speedway is a funny sport that way you can put the best team out there but it dosnt garuntee a winning team
-
but if they wont pay enough then they will get 1 thats maybe not anywhere nesr the grade
