  1. well done expect the odds to be slashed on bomber to around 33/1 for cardiff unbelievable how much they cut the odds in speedway gp when a lower order rider has a decent metting
  2. typical thats my sort of betting luck
  3. do the home club still get money from sky or bspa to allow them to offer promotions to stop everyone just watching at home if so looks like berwick promotion not looking after there loyal fans
  4. between 50 and 90 surely the regs dont allow that much difference 40 yards is a big difference
  5. acording to my ex glaswegian brother in law everything goes in the frier up there nothing like a good scotch pie or haggis
  6. but how do they cook the scotch pies i love them but wont buy 1 in scotland can remember going in a chippy in the town area of berwick my ex went in when she come out she said ive got you a scotch pie but i dont think youll eat it she was right dripping in fat you just dont cook pies in the fryer workington have always been awful when on sky but if hanson is on form there might be some good viewing cooming round the boards
  7. havnt been for a couple of year but i always thought berwick meetings were always pritty good in my past visits
  8. i see where your coming from and sort off agre but were only talking rumours at moment think we should all wait to see the offical version
  9. the thing is we all would do more things if we didnt have to pay for it but once you start paying and as speedway goes now paying more than we really should for what we get back then you pick and choose what you actually do when it costs you money its not that you cant afford it its more a case of i dont want to spen 15 or 20 pound to go stand there getting cold and wet while they drag there feet inbetween heats
  10. there is room to go off track but stay off the playing area of the grass im not a rugby or football fan but when speedway tracks are around the outside of such pitchs or dog tracks come to that then speedway teams, riders and fans must respect the terms laid down them and regardless of the issue of the grass the fag marshall was a offical of workington speedway and alex davies was out of order in how he reacted to the flag marshalls instructions
  11. no need for this post no one wants the air ambulance but if its needed then obviously rules or guidelines come 2nd when peoples lives are at risk as long as safety guidelines are followed
  12. the answer to that is yes theres not loads of room but more than enough to push your bike along the straight till you get to the corners where there is plenty of room to stay in safe plce untill end of heat the pitch is well marked so its clear to see the edge of the playing area
  13. another thing that seams strange why hold a european pairs meeting on the same night as a gp on that note just like to thank janowski for winning the gp when i had money on him
  14. all clubs would like to win the league some try hard but never succed others expect to win everything when building teams acording to the wage bill and complain when they have poor team form
  15. dosnt always work that way but i do tend to agree with you
  16. a few have said for a while campton should be at no2 but credit to mason hes poping up with a few ht wins recently dont actually think thats true plymouth like sheffield last week were better than the score suggests
  17. slight difference workington were still in with a shout untill ht 13 where as at home workington had the meeting won at that stage with workingtons only heat winner being adam roynon who some fans want replaced there wasnt much chance of pulling points back in ht 13 and 15
  18. think your being slightly hard on the sheffield team there was some good racing from all riders tonight as for nathan well thats just part of being classed as the next big thing before you earn the right had his moments when he rode for workington but was also a bit lucky to hold his place untill injury rulled him out as for kenath hanson we are lucky enough to see that type of racing from him regularly worth the admisson money alone when hes in that mood
  19. why is it lack of ambition the so called british elite league hasnt been a good product for quite a few years now yes you have a few decent riders at the top end but the lower end and no disrespedt to them are basicly national league riders the races are 2 in 1 most of them with 2 riders racing for the win and 2 racing for third im not a plynouth fan but i hope as the start post says this move brings the crowds in as the management have tried hard to get a team together that will challenge and entertain so many dont really try to challange and entertain but build teams regarding cost and budget
  20. were all guilty of it at times i hold my hand up and admit im not perfect and sometimes make posts that when i look back the day after sometimes i think well thats not exactly what i meant but i stand by the coment i made when the remark about niki barret was made by the panthers fan
  21. thats the thing with speedway you just cant predict which meetings are going to be the best quite often its the ones you dont expect that are the best entertainment
