  1. its no seceret that comets over the last few years are running on a budget and being supported from the owners own pocket on the grounds above the teams thats been built have been good in my opinion its only a few other behind the scean issues holding speedway back at workington with the exception of klindt who im undiceded on ive no problem at all with the other 4 in fact im happy with them
  2. pleased the news has been released about kyle so the person who claims they have seen the contract and new for sure that kyle had allready signed must have a crystal ball that shines 2 months ahead so wonder if they have also seen the conract for the new no1 i dont expect kyle to be on the pace straight away but like last year i think hell develope slowely but steadily
  3. the thing here is people seem to forget that a entertaining team can get away with some poor results and most of the time the fans will only see them at home which most of the time edinburgh can make good teams look mediocre
  4. im no edinburgh fan by a long way but i fully understand that a below average looking side can turn out to be a title winning team boosted by the confidence they gain with the track advantage id never underestimate edinburgh as a team and i certainly wouldnt underestimate the 2 riss brothers from what i saw last year and also know ricky wells is usually a reliable rider
  5. my opinion of rob lambert is he has the most natural talant weve seen for very long time the thing i see that will hold him back or stop him making it to world champion is 1 i dont think hes dedicated enough to go the extra inch just reliying on his natural talant and 2 there could be outside influence that interfiers like the rumours a couple of years ago when he was missing meetings (peterborough maybe )
  6. you mean like other clubs do almost every year when a rider they want signs for another club we cant sign him because team x poached him from us thats how it goes aint it but it is comon in speedway to know where a rider is going a long time before its anounced by the club themselves
  7. would be nice to have the site up and running again but current promotion would have to change id think unless someone starts there own up
  8. you can say whatever you want mate aslong as you dont break any laws we all like a bit of banter and a little half hearted wind ups sometimes you cant actually say what you know to protect people or delicate situations but can hint at things see who responds
  9. come on jenga dont want them all thinking youve gone soft do you
  10. i do know the bickleys right up to great grandad i slso know what and who i mean that may be the one to spoil it for the lads options speedway is a funny sport sponsors and teams turn there backs on riders for sometimes the smallest of reasons
  11. BICKLEY, Kyle DATE OF BIRTH: 27 February 2002, Whitehaven, Cumbria. BRITISH CAREER: (2017) Belle Vue II. MAJOR HONOURS: British 125cc Champion: 2013, 2014; 125cc FIM Longtrack Gold Trophy Champion: 2014, 2015; British 500cc Champion: 2016. CLUB HONOURS: League Championship winner: 2017 [Belle Vue II]. so it looks like we have to wait till end of feb before we know where kyle is going
  12. so if hes riding poland on a sunday he wont be riding any championship speedway as hes allready riding premiership and signed for danish side aswell
  13. unfortunatley i can see young bickley becoming a rider like robert lambert or william lawson plenty of talant but poor advisors/management
  14. theres a few around workington saying the same thing even now when glasgow have 7 riders listed but thats not what im led to believe
  15. dosnt look a bad team really but not sure how acurate it will be only time will tell or another teams fans maybe
  16. but dont tell redcar fans they still think hes going there
  17. wouldnt be surprised if the on track racing between matt and mason had something to do with it
  18. a good example of a motocross rider switching codes due to foot and mouth is jonathan rae only switched to road racing from motocross then now a milionaire and 3 times world superbike champion
  19. id say theres not many too good for this league as in my opinion its a far better league than the 1 that stole our name yes maybe its better as all the riders are closer together tallent wise than the other league but most the heat leaders are the same and most the reserves are the same too so whats the difference between them
  20. i wouldnt no what he does apart from speedway id have been happy enough for him to be back at workington
  21. with good people behind him matt can be a good rider butt with the points left id say you wont be signing the rider i thought yould have at reserve
  22. id say matt will up his avearge around there every week to build confidence and he will get backing and support so id say that confirms it wasnt matt who couldnt ride due to work comitments as fridays would be harder to get time off compared to saturdays and some saturdays id think
  23. why are they gonna release details of our team wouldnt surprise me
  24. another thats too clever for there own good or just a k~~b
