  1. riders lke joe jacobs i feel sorry for im sure if joe has a run of 2 or 3 seasons with the right club/clubs and he has the right finacial backing then im sure he could compette ata a decent level im not saying hes gonna be a 7 point championship rider but on his day hes more than capable of compeating as a 2nd string
  2. i can remember belle vue coming years ago for challange 1 of the team wouldnt come as he was scared of getting beat from old prem league riders on the big track and another member decided he would rather knock a rider off on first bend 3 times running than try and race him all good fun aint it
  3. we could always arranged a challange with the club that you follow as it looks like they race in another league
  4. how often have you seen mason ride some meetings last year he looked like he could beat anyone but ill also agree some meetings he beat himself many times and looked like a total newcomer could give him a good go what i will say is mason campton is world class compared to mitchell davey who not many have a problem with and he even now gets classed as a brit dont get me wrong i like davey always well turned out and looks good on the bike but he just cant score points
  5. well id say im not really a fan of 1 big league but i cant really argue with most of your points and its well thought through
  6. my choice would be ty he was the one who would come out with riders after the meeting trying to help them thats what a good captin does if not ty it would have to be rene mason jneeds to concentrate on his own game but we all know whos the promotions golden choice
  7. its something to do with average above a 6 in pl and didnt ride in championship to gain a average last year harris can ride in both because he rode last year in championship something like that anyway
  8. thats the thing i keep saying the ones knocking the team are not workington fans its fans of other teams that are the ones knocking it and trying to rip it apart
  9. only slight negative from any conected to Workington is regarding klindt its the posts from fans of other teams that are negative which could be there trying a bit of propaganda as there really worried this team of no hopers and 2nd strings are gonna turn them over
  10. maybe it was different with kus as the process had been ongoing before redcar filled ther team up and you never know it could be the same with kyle
  11. no it didnt you were the one along with another poster that said it was a member of last years team that couldnt return it said in the paper the rider we wanted cant comit due to work restrictions and it would be a returning rider never said returning from last year which others pointed out it never said member of last years team but i forgot you are never wrong are you there was people who new rene had been in touch with a few clubs
  12. looks like you got it wrong about the rider that couldnt comit due to work comitments then as its now turned out to be rene bach as others said at the time it was never said the rider was in last years team just a previous rider most new ty was probably back and matt had said himself workington had never been intouch
  13. thats how i understand the rules regarding transfer/loan deals
  14. i sort of agree here but riders still have value and clubs have investment in riders to protect
  15. dont understand this post as not really seen any negative posts about the team appart from most are a bit dubious regarding klindt the team the management have put out has to be way above what most feared when we only just survived as a club im 1 off the biggest knockers of some of our promotrion but i cant really fault the team building they just need to keep up the good work through the season dont turn on the fans and hold there hands up and try and correct any mistakes they make if a rider isnt doing there job give them a little time and let them know they need to improve and if they dont well they need to go if they know there not safe they will try to find a solution and improve
  16. im keeping the 911 but thinking of selling the ducati and the m3
  17. the point im making is the fee should be agreed between the 2 clubs involved if no agreement can be made then no sale if i was selling my car i would agree the fee with the person buying it like it or not take it or leave it we wouldnt got to a person in the next town and ask them to set a price
  18. since when has our league got anything from the tv deals ? as we wernt wanted on tv as it would show what a poor product the socalled topleague is id be very surprised if any of the championship teams got anything direct from that sponsership so shouldnt affect a transfer fee between 2 championship clubs
  19. but thats the thing its all opinions 1 garage values a car at £3000 trade in another values it at £4000 trade in its the same with footballers and speedway riders there worth what people are willing to pay if a team dosnt want to sell for that price then they shouldnt be forced to and a loan fee should be paid but also kyle is unlikely to ever return to workington so why shouldnt they get a full transfer fee at a sencible price and as ive said kyle is probably at his best form ever so price should reflect that
  20. id rather have him in the 2016 form when he was putting maximums in 2 or 3 times he visited workington with glasgow he was out to prove a point and did so in a way you took notice
  21. if workington want too much then it will go to arbitration the problem with arbitration is its agreed by the bspa isnt it and we all know they look after there friends but as kyle was in 2 tittle winning teams last year and they both want him back that suerly must up his value get your hand in your pocket wolverhampton and buy him before sheffield do
  22. kyle is up for grabs acording to sheffield but they arnt willing to pay for him
  23. its no rumour it was fact but when a rider hasnt got a ride he sometimes changes his mind if the rene bach that rode against workington for glasgow turns up hell be a crowd pleaser
  24. what a load of rubish its not always down to money
