was brent werner the same while he was at newcastle he wasnt that shy but did sit outside in the van after the meeting but he did have a young child at the time if i remember right a lot of the workington fans didnt really like the fact he "didnt socialise " like some of the others
-
dont forget barrrbaraaa
-
-
who else is on the bspa comittee any one know full list
-
hey thats every day situation in the league that stoll our name but they still think there the ones with a better quality product
-
well you never know you might not be too far from the truth there jenga once over played a big part in saving speedway in a certain area
-
too many warnings last year so now jump starts arnt always pulled back not sure exactly how its gonna work if its jump but dont touch tapes your ok or if its at refs descression like it was in the past
-
agree with the points you make but this is the bspa were talking about who change the rules at will usually to the advantage of 1 off there members teams this is why they rules and everything should be policed by independent pannel
-
its easier to keep fans by improving things before they get so bad once fans have stopped coming its hard to get them to return they get out of the routine and find it hard to justify paying the money again as they will have found another outlet for the money they saved from speedway
-
i can remember walking into sheffield for a plrc meeting and the track looked like that
-
but YOU were saying you should back your promotion at all cost which i would never advise for anything always use your own judgement and dont be afraid to speak your mind have i hit a nerve
-
yet another forum english teacher some ar puppets and some are hangers on because they cant think for themselves they just follow like little sheep
-
dont agree with you on this one real fans go to watch entertaining speedway and stand by riders during ups and downs people who stand by the promotion regardless of any mistakes they make or decisions are not real fans there just puppets
-
always felt rosco gets a hard time from alot in the speedway world theres not many as passionate about speedway than rosco you can really tel it means alot to him
-
if you allready know the team why are you so keen on it being made public your the one being rediculous
-
exactly the type of reaction i was expecting and just proves my point but theres some on here that are that blinkered they cant see past the post some riders and teams can have loads of bad luck but arnt allowed to say BUT and others can use any thing in there defence and im not even thinking of mason campton the whole aussie championship is a poor example to judge anyone
-
not bad for a rider whos totally useless acording to some and sam masters only 6th wasnt he oh hang on i suppose there will be plenty on with excuesses for sam like he got injured but other riders/clubs arnt allowed to to use a excuess when they have a poor season or meeting
-
this is the main thing for me so many shout about brits before foriegners there are a few things to considor cost, ability and attitude towards the club there signing for if they only sign because they cant get another club and they arnt fully comitted then they should stay at home and wait for a place somewhere better suited
-
im forgetting the old prem and ellitte were different
-
seams a lot longer than 2 years

SGB Premiership Confirmed signings 2018.
scaramanga replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
lewis kerr was also named alongside rob lambert wasnt he -
its been that your top averaged rider has to be no1 for years now at 1 point your top 2 had to be at 1 and 3 then they changed it to 1 and 5 then oh i would say about 5 years or more ago that your top average is at 1 and then 2 to 5 can be any order with your 2 lowest at reserve
-
and that might be a big deciding factor how much difference would the same rider get riding for each club
-
if a promotor packs in they have a set amount of time to sell them or they go to the bspa (i think thats how it is now ) years ago a promotor could pack in but keep the assetts but that changed a few years back im sure you need to be a active promotor i think now and they certainly wouldnt be given to another club usually when it does happen the full club assetts go up for auction as a job lot thats what happened with hull and bids were in sealed envelopes apparntly
-
you either have to have assets or pay a bond to cover any debts and such like if your club goes to the wall thats why they like you to build a assett base
