  1. personaly i think 3pm dust bowl meetings @£20 will turn a few away i feel spedway is best under floodlights but others do prefer afternoon meetings
  2. think Tero has had his day now too up and down and not know for looking after his equipment very well good rider on his day but they are getting less often
  3. needs flood lights and switch to later start time its the only way they will keep the dust down enough to allow spectators to watch the racing
  4. id love to see a fully on song rasmus or kilderman round north side
  5. not so sure about that there has been plenty riders over the years who have the signs of drug users or heavy drinkers and never been caught
  6. no real point trying to build team untill regs are finalised but i see tom brennan not wanted at glasgow could be good round northside also sam gotta be of interest the lad never gives up and rides his heart out and luke harrison all depends on cost and building a team that works
  7. not followed the forum regularly since comets closed last time but remember you and always found your posts fairly unbiassed and you come across well as a speedway fan who knows the crack not just post towards your own track
  8. crowds will always drop from the inital buzz from opening nights id say tyhe dust has been a big part of some dropping away hopefully if the flood lights rumours are correct then switiching to night time meets will improve the racing and crowds
  9. bailey wins with 15 pt max and exciting and worrying news that comets will be in championship in 2024
  10. its not just riders championships though how many over the years have declined riding in british championship
  11. dont knock the line up sp many have said they wouldnt go to watch nationla league riders but weve seen some much better racing at new track than many others ive been to over all leagues
  12. your right in a few things there few years back you couldnt ride in 3 leagues but use conor baily as example young lad trying hard started the season only workington gave him a place now winning heats for redcar and belle vue is this a example of the ndl doing its job or the other leagues over looking a rider that wants to race whatever level
  13. whats ticket prices for this think a adult is £15 but what about kids and family tickets might have both grandkids tomorrow personally id love it to poor down today and then stop to hopefully crate a track like last week that was awesome
  14. poor crowd and the ones who stayed away missed a good meeting track was great i agree with the post above in all counts senna summers looks very tidy im sure hes allready got a start next year aslong as the structure stays as it is all riders today were neat and tidy even the ndl riders
  15. im about 10 miles away had a small shower about 10.30 its wet here but not raining all depends how wet the track is id say
  16. very surprised this is still on hope its not just a get it on at all costs but if its on ill be there
  17. with all forms of adrenaline sports you are going to have the ones who use drugs i dont agree with drugs full stop but the drug rules are not as they should some minor drugs are treated a lot harder than some others cocaine is high on my list of the route cause of a lot of issues in modern world but is becoming seen as a thing to do by most horrible thing is cocaine seen so many lives ruined by it
  18. i agree with the ones who are saying if its real bad it shouldnt be shown i also dont expect anything untill we know the guy is going to be ok which is the main thing ive seen some footage from people i know thats never been released from accidents at road races and it changes your views but as allready said no one wants to see anyone hurt in the sports we follow
  19. i see it different im a big road racing fan dont like seeing people hurt but i like to see for myself what actually happened too many bits get added or left out when you hear it 2nd hand its not always wanting to see gory details just a clear understanding
  20. dont stop a claim if theres blame though accidents are accidents but negligence is a different thing im a registered fia marshal if we fail to do as trained and someone injured at our point we can be prosecuted
  21. hope for the sake of british speedway kings lynn can actually find a little form
